I’m tf!melinks pilled now because 1 accurate weird girl representation 2 gives a nice barrier to celestial metals emotion heavy lore, esp because she walks in and out of any conversation as she pleases and doesn’t really get emotions or friends as concepts 😂 I love how in the beginning before knowing people she would just walk away without saying anything
tf!Melinks should totally talk to tf!Legs about how metal is used in sewing, needles and pins do the work, but could hurt you, that’s why there are also metal thimbles that protect you
Inspired by tf!Melinks trying to find tf!legs while the others were doing the eye ritual on Ambear, because she noticed how he left and was sad, but she couldn’t find him
Thinking too hard about celestialmetals...specially tf!sausage...smth so sad to me about him in particular (not that they all arent throwing bricks but still-)
Almost no one argues with his self described role as a protector, no one has tried to dig into what is causing him to go robot mode, no one denies his idea of everyone else over himself.
Hes SO much like gracie in that aspect, he's claimed to want to never sleep just to avoid his friends being in danger...
Idkkk this isnt celestialmetals fault because their all going through it but my god I cannot imagine what will happen when the protector persona falls away with him...

Celestial metals as a collective stop being passively suicidal challenge failed
But in all honesty I think they are too much of an echo chamber of self pity and self sacrifice, they all need to branch out of their codependent echo chamber of depression and maybe make their own friends who can be just theirs and on their side and not the collectives.

Can I just say it’s some irony that tf!Melinks who was used as a test for the cure due to not having many bonds with others may be the only one who had a safe cure. Because her cure was before the dragons were forced awake so now anyone who gets the cure gets nightmare world and pain in their bodies. She who “wouldn’t have been missed” if things went wrong was the only one to come out perfectly okay. It’s sad that she recognizes that she was a test but doesn’t realize she’s the only one that safely got the dust.
