finally, at long last, i can introduce all of you to

TF STRAGGLERS! ASTROTRAIN!

This big fella has just about had it with his job. after an entire war of carting around ungrateful, unpleasant decepticons, astrotrain had been spending his ride back home from the far reaches of the galaxy pondering what to do with his retirement. After finding out that he would keep receiving orders to return troops home, astrotrain was livid. in his anger, he accidentally crashlanded on the planet where hot rod and onslaught's platoons were stationed. As the desperate to leave decepticons nurse him back to health at their base, he finds some long needed peace and quiet, and realizes that his retirement might be better served hanging around the edges of the galaxy in quiet, comfortable obscurity.

im really excited about this guy! he shows up a few chapters into the start of the series, and he's more off to the background of the cast. he and beachcomber have some arcs together, both enjoying nature, kind of to turn their skybound interpretations on their head. im excited about them
