Would you do anything going into Mandroid

Nope. He is a repulsive character with an ego that deludes him into thinking he's a hero when he's nothing but a selfish asshole who hurt others around him for his own delusions. To be fair, this is probably what the Season 1 team wanted to which, great job, aside from the rushed writing. He's no Silas from Prime.

I guess there is a potential story where I could delve into Megatron having his split personalities and Mandroid interacting with that, but I just don't want to waste my time on such an unlikeable character.

Bottom line, I have no interest in writing for a character who went out of his way to harm, mutilate, psychologically torture and try to kill kids. There is no excuse for that. Absolutely none.

Sorry if that disappoints you, but nope. My time is better spent on more worthy characters.

Side note, his moving factory reminds me of Megatron's mother, Termagax's, 'House' from the IDW comics. I know that many people compare it to Howl's Moving Castle but considering how Earthspark pulls a lot of stuff from the comics, I can't help but think it was a nod to that.

I finally caught up on Transformers Earthspark.

I think it was pretty good overall, season 1 on its own being great. Seasons 2-3 aren't as good, though watchable.

I will say that the best part is the character designs, hands down. The ONLY bad looking character is Mandroid, and that is clearly on purpose. I mean, have you seen the cybortronians? They are all gorgeous! (Though Optimus' face is a little off, I will admit).

Prowl was peak in s3, hands down the best part of that season. I love my morally questionable boi! The Terrans are cool, too. Nightshade is excellent nb rep, and they are my child. I will fight you on that.

Like Danny Phantom, though, the show suffers from, well, wasted potential, I want to say. A similar situation of left behind plot points, unanswered questions, and vague backstories.

The first episodes insinuate that this is a G1 based universe, for example. But it quickly became clear that that is not quite right. So because of that, we don't know slag about pre-war Cybertron. Why did the war start? No fragging clue!

That's my biggest gripe with the show, actually. The next being how they fragged over Starscream after season 1. Like, I don't actually mind the Decepticons being the bad guys again, but they wasted Starscream's potential in particular.

Overall, I can at least recommend season 1 without guilt. The episodes after that, however, should be watched with a grain of salt, I guess.

Firsts to Grow Up AU - Meridian knows about Terratronus for a long time.

Years before the GHOST prison base was built, it was only a small hideout Meridian made into his secret lab. He had been studying Witwicky's legendary giant and linked it to the Titans from the Cybertronian history books. He thought about asking an Autobot to join his investigation.

Then the friendly fire happened.

Meridian lost his arm, his colleagues, and his work. He lost the trust he had for the 'good' alien faction who promised to protect humanity. From that day on, there is no good or bad factions, only warmongering alien robots who never cared for the natives of the planet they brought their war into.

Witwicky's mountain Titan may be the key to stop them for good. Until every one of the alien robots are gone from the face of the Earth, the war will never be over to Meridian.
