Jazz and his two recently resurrected boyfriends!
I like to think that, after coming back to life, Soundblaster…doesn’t exactly lose their loyalty to the Decepticons, but does get more than a little intensely focused on finding and properly destroying Blaster-now-Twincast for revenge reasons. To the point that it distracts them from their duties a little (read: more than a little).
Twincast, meanwhile, is having something of an identity crisis, kind of like the one Blaster has in his IDW Spotlight. He’s used to being the happy dude who plays music all the time, and then he had to confront mutually assured destruction. And now he’s dealing with figuring out who he is when he’s not the cheerful bot from before.
The two keep sneaking off to fight without a whole lot of heart in the fighting part, and eventually Jazz comes along and is like “ok you’re clearly obsessed with each other. Consider: stop fighting and start dating.”
And that’s the story of how Jazz got not one but two boyfriends who cheated death.
Soundblaster doesn’t leave the Decepticons or anything, they just sometimes hang out with the Autobots. Galvatron has Cyclonus to be his ultra-loyal ally, after all. He doesn’t need Soundblaster all the time.
