Do you remember hearing it in his voice when he arrested Megatron?

Did it startle you - realizing it sounded nothing like Optimus's "enraged" yell when Prowl rescued the Dinobots? Or his argument with Sentinel over who was the "Primer" Prime?

Were you scared by the fact that Optimus's anger in that moment was so abnormally dramatic and intense - but not fake, or over-the-top?

Or by the fact that there was, perhaps, genuine hatred in his voice when he said Megatron didn't deserve "the easy way out"?

Optimus Prime's final words in Transformers: Animated encapsulated a distinct, chilling moment where he experienced something new for the first time.

The day Prowl died, Optimus learned that his programming couldn't prevent him from being a hero.

He also learned that his programming couldn't prevent him from murdering another Cybertronian in cold blood.

Both were choices he had to make for himself.

here goes, time for some feels

basically, poe is a really stubborn bastard who r e f u s e s to acknowledge that he may or may not be critically injures

he goes through the whole battle with a big ass head injury like Poe no thats not good

he lands and comes out of his x-wing as if everything’s alright

with this BIG ASS BLEEDING HEAD

and Leia is waiting for the troops to land as usual

and she sees her gay boi ™ with this huge ass injury stepping down from the ladder

and she goes towards him

and just as she’s about to reach him he collapses on the floor

instantly she reacts

“Jessica get a medic! ANd FINn”

she’s so afraid caus she loves Poe, he’s basically Han but younger

and she constantly worries about him

He’s basically her delinquent son

Well, not murder everyone in the jedi temple delinquent but you get the idea

They end up in the med bay and she’s so calm in like, the way that if you poke her or like provoke her slightly she will stab u and not even bat an eyelid

and she just watches over the doctors like ‘if u kill my son i will murder every one of you’

and so these poor nurses are working on the best pilot in the resistance with the fucking C O M M A N D E R watching them

and then his boyfriend bestfriend, THE FIRST ORDER DESERTER, HERO OF THE RESISTANCE SHOWS UP NO BIGGIE

honestly those poor nurses could you imagine the pressure

and so they’re desperately trying to get Poe to stabalise

caus he’s flitting in and out of consciousness like a fiddlers elbow

eventually, after about 3 hours they get him awake properly

they’ve healed what they can, including a previously unknown side wound that was bleeding like a hole in hoover dam

so this bitch

wakes up

and his fave people, including jessica, are standing over him as if he was dying

he was dying but thats not the point

and he wakes up with this big ass concussion which is making his vision swim

and Finn goes to sit next to him for comfort and stuff

and Poe just leans in and kisses him no biggie

and of course Poe doesn’t understand what he did, he’s concusses

but finn is blushing like a giddy bitch

and Leia is there like ‘fucking FINALLY’

and they just stay there, listening to concussed Poe gush to them all

“Finn, you’re so brave, and pretty, and brave”

“JESSICA”

“WHAT”

“Love you”

“Love you too Poe”

“GENERAL MOTHER LADY hello how are you”

and yeah Poe almost just died, but Poe just called The General MOTHER and so everyone’s basically in tears laughing

Finn stays in the med bay whilst he sleeps, and when Poe wakes up unconcussed, he’s the one to explain everything

“So, where do I start? You called the general mother, told jess you love her, called me pretty and brave and kissed me.”

and Poe freezes

like shit I kissed Finn

what if he didn’t like it

what if he doesn’t like me

fuck

and Finn just leans in gently

and cups his face in his hands

and gives Poe Dameron the most beautiful kiss he’s ever had the pleasure of experiencing

stormpilot fluff! ft. rey as finn’s supportive best friend and leia as poe’s protective yet supportive mom :-)

I am so on board with Poe constantly flirting with Finn without even realising what he’s saying

Like at one point I am certain they were talking about Poe’s old jacket

and Finn was insisting it looked better on Poe than him

and Poe says something along the lines of ‘It would look better on your bedroom floor than on me’

and Finn instantly blushed

Poe has no idea why Finn is blushing

then it sinks in

oh shit did he just say that

and he goes to Leia

“General I fucked up!”

“Tell me something I don’t know.”

He basically whines to Leia about how he may have made a very inappropriate comment which is borderline sexual to the man he has a massive starkiller base sized crush on

and she just laughes

this bitch

is a hopeless gay

and she waves him off muttering something about “Luke being just as hopeless”

meanwhile Finn has run off to Rey to ask her if it means anything

and she (being the naïve sweetheart she is) thinks nothing of it

“I’m sure the jacket isn’t that important”

“Rey its the one he mended”

“Oh the one you cried about to me because he’s so multitalented?”

“YES THAT ONE”

Leia and Rey have weekly chats about their useless gays™

anyway at one point they bump into each other again

and they’re both flustered and very much the best of the useless gays

and Finn’s absently rubbing his shoulder and the patched up area where he got sliced by the lightsaber

and Poe of course noticed this and asks if he’s happy with the patched up version

because he wants to ask if Finn is ok and if the scar still hurts but

how to??? conversation???

and Finn starts to stutter out thanks and Poe starts to stutter out a sorry for asking about your injury

and they both take a step closer to each other

and realise that oh shit he’s really close

both Poe and Finn can hear their internal Leia/Rey voice screaming at them to kiss

and so they both lean in 

and Finn’s so gentle and kind

but Poe is almost desperate to deepen it 

and so they end up making out passionately in the middle of a resistance hallway

when they finally break apart they have the biggest smiles in the world on their faces

“FUCKING FINALLY”

they both turn to see Leia looking smug as fuck and Rey just giving them a knowing look

they just giddily laugh it off and turn to each other, kissing one another again

Aaahhh!! Loved the stormpilot Leia Po e thing. I need more Leia as a mom and injured Poeee

As I said before, Poe’s a stubborn bitch

and even though he was previously injured, one week or one day ago

he will refuse help

in any and all forms

so as soon as he can physically stand, not even stably, he asks the general to be put back into action

of course, she’s like, no you idiot you almost died

but he demands to be put back in action, almost begging her

so he ends up in the control room sitting next to Leia’s work station, being there to be ‘an advisor’

aka mamma Leia is not letting her destructive boy out of her sights

she knows from past experience, Poe on bed rest is never a good thing

last time one of the nurses almost quit because of his incessant babbling about Finn under pain meds

So there he is like a kid in a candy store in high command

and he keeps trying to push one button after the other only to get his hand slapped by Leia

whining like a fucking dog

“Don’t give me that tone mister”

“Yes mooooooooooooommmm”

Leia secretly smiling slightly at his little comments

at one point she’s talking to her commanders and their eyes keep flitting behind her

and she knows its Poe dicking around or something

and she turns to look behind her to see Poe in the e x a c t same position he was in 

like this motherfucker is not even LOOKING AT HER

and she’s glaring at him and he won’t even give her the time of day

so she turns back to the commanders and gives them a sharp glare, before going back to the debriefing

and they KEEP GIGGLING 

MAMA LEIA DON’T HAVE TIME FOR YO GIGGLING

she has a resistance to run

and so next time they giggle she SWISHES around the fastest you’ve ever seen and catches Poe looking RIGHT AT HER

and he’s caught in the weirdest pose you’ve ever seen

so he slowly goes back to sitting properly

with a little blush on his cheeks

but he’s grinning like an idiot

and Leia just doesn’t have the heart to send him back to the med bay

so she just rolls her eyes and keeps working

later on, as he’s walking down the corridor, he feels a sharp SLAP upside his head

and turns to see Leia smirking at him with no shame

“WHAT WAS THAT FOR”

“Poe, I’ve dealt with a force sensitive kid”

“SO?”

“So act like a kid and I’ll treat you like one.”

Poe pouting for the rest of the day

Leia jokingly threatening another slap if he misbehaves

but its poe

of course he’s misbehaving

and of course, Leia being the mum™ that she is

just rolls her eyes and smiles
