Somewhere in deep Quintessan territory, desperately attemtping to steal Energon from the greedy space squids, General Strika and her Decepticons while in their weakened state find themselves under siege and overpowered by the Quintessan and an army of their mind controlled Sharkticons. By sheer dumb luck, a little Autobot named Tailgate who had been imprisoned on the Quintessan ship had escaped his confinment while all the Sharkticon guards were busy. Tailgate felt that even Decepticons didn't deserve what he'd endured from the Quintessan.

He used his size to his advantage to slip by the Sharkticons unnoticed to activate some McGuffin in the ship that freed the Sharkticons brains from the Quintessan's control & enabled them to revolt against their oppressors.

Later Strika wishes to return the favor to the Autobot by ordering Cyclonus to execute him. This doesn't suit right within Cyclonus' honor. And nor did he feel right leaving a fellow Cybertronian alone in Quintessan territory again. He fakes compliance with Strika's order & proceeds to keep the Minibot hidden in his quarters. He'll drop him off at the closest Autobot colony later. Can he keep the Minibot secret long enough though? Who knows! Til' next time!

Somehow today I end up wanting Cyclonus and Tailgate to be Transformers: Animated, where they're basically star-cross lovers. Torn by the war and can no longer be together.

Also, both Tailgate and Cyclonus could see themselves in Bumblebee and Shockwave, another couple who were torn by their respective factions.

A tall Decepticon and a short Autobot who hates being called small. Yeah, the parallels between these two couples would be uncanny for those who know them.

Plus, two old gay robots could help the younger couple deal with their complicated relationship while dealing their own problems.

Ignoring the facts that I already have a tfa au in the works that I haven't updated in a while and have exams tomorrow I made an tfa au based on the fact that there was supposed to be a time travel episode where Bumblebee was a prime in the future. Oh and the madness with Galvatron happened. So here are some memes for this au because again I have exams tomorrow and the following days so I don't have time to sit down and write crap, at least until exams are over.

I added to Terrans because 1) I thought it would be funny and 2) all possible plot points that I could play around with. Also I call Future!Bumblebee Goldbug to differ him from regular Bumblebee, so he is Goldbug Prime.

I know almost nothing about Astrotrain's character other than he's a bastard and chaotic but by God that would not stop me from writing about him.

What can I say but I like the Starbee ship, that and I get to play around with the forbidden romance of an Autobot and a Decepticon.

There are so many fics about Megop and Blitzbee so I thought I would mix it up a bit with Starbee for a change.

Those two freak them out. Tarantulas freaks Optimus out the most for obvious reasons.

Before he would give anything to be a Prime/commander but now he is trying to dodge leadership responsibilities like their bullets but he still always ends up taking up the role of team leader.

That's right Cygatewhirl is canon in this au even though I don't think that Tailgate and Whirl exist in the tfa world.

They would be rethinking a lot of their life choices and a lot of things on how Autobot society works after this whole mess is over.

Like in gen 1 the reason why Bumblebee switched names to Goldbug is because he was almost fully destroyed but was rebuilt with a completely new look.

Ain't nobody like Galvatron in this au.

I couldn't resist doing something awful to the twins traumatizing them even more and the fact that Jetfire in other media starts out as a Decepticon before switching sides to the Autobots.

Meet Whirligig!! He’s a aerial cadet who recently finished his academy training under Jetfire and Jetstorm.

Whirligig is a bit clumsy in the air, but what he lacks in grace he more than makes up for with his strength and speed. He’s not one for violence, and hopes that his training will land him on a rescue team or maybe a research expedition. While he waits to hear back from his applications, he’s currently working as a,,,mailman. Tailgate says it’s a SAFE and honorable job while Cyclonus just laughs quietly to himself as he watches his behemoth of a son spinning circles in the air trying to catch loose packages he accidentally sneezed out of his compartments.

He’s got his Carrier’s softhearted spark and the same natural born talent with blades as his Sire (though he prefers to stay away from those, someone could get hurt!)

Despite Whirlie having a slightly rocky relationship with his Sire being on and off probation after his amnesty trial, he will always support Cyclonus even if he does have a few big blow ups in therapy. He’s always been more of a momma’s boy anyways. The day he was told he was too big to sit in Tailgate’s lap, he sobbed for only 10 hours.

He’s named after his ‘big lanky weirdo’ of Godsire, Whirl, who always brings him fun trinkets he makes as part of his own therapy process. Whirl Jr. can only keep so many of those same trinkets in her own room so she’s MORE than happy to share the love w Whirlie!

Whirligig’s altmode is smth similar to a Supermarine Spitfire and he’d be voice by Donnie from ROTTMNT!

Tfa Skywarp and Tfa tailgate

TFA Skywarp (not the clone)

This is Starscream's little brother, he's not the brightest and warping into a wall is common. He's as quick to follow as he is at running away as soon as there's danger.

Megatron purposely separated Starscream from his brothers to ensure he can't plot or have anyone to fall back on when he fails. Megatron wants Starscream to be alone when he dies.

TFA Tailgate

He was just a little cleaning bot on one of the autobot ships that was being attacked by General Strika and her team. Tailgate was hiding in the closet when Cyclonus found him. They kinda awkwardly stared. At eachother before Cyclonus picked him up and basically told his team and general, "This is mine now, if any of you even touch him, you die." And just walked off

Tailgate goes around cleaning the decepticon ship now, but Cyclonus is always there for him to talk to as they have a bit in common in terms of conversation. If anyone asks, Tailgate is their prisoner.
