%)
so like im killing off Vace’s mom in the TFA verse
im a huge supporter of ocs with living parents because it has a lot of interesting potential, but it feels right this time around to put him in partially in the Dead Parents Alliance. basically, i didnt change their occupations, and the only well-to-do politicians around TFA time would be of the New Republic. you see where im going with this right.
Starkiller Base destroyed the entire system that houses the New Republic, where she would have been at the time. not only did he inadvertently contribute to her death by doing his usual dealings in sabotage and selling stolen goods to First Order affiliates, but he did in hopes of one day repairing his strained relationship with her and his father. it was all just a bad, bad mistake. not a rookie mistake, but a bad one.
while it wasn’t necessarily his fault that it happened--they definitely would destroy the republic any chance they got--he feels responsible for not doing anything when he could have.
with this in mind, i think his outlook on the conflict would be less neutral. he would stop aiding the First Order in any way and probably just contribute to the Resistance when he chooses to not be doing his own thing. taking a neutral stance was a mistake, and often is with tyrannical men threatening to undo any progress made, even if he didn’t feel as though the consequences would affect him. well. it directly affected her, huh.
this means i have to do some revisions on my verse page.
"Hello miss!" The mini cassette waves up at the taller femme. (For tfa Arcee)
“Oh... hello!!!” Arcee waved back, a little less enthusiastically. “You don’t look familiar to me... have we met?” She was hoping this wasn’t a bot she had forgotten.
[In a small, soft voice] Anyone want a real ass kicking?
