FREIGHTLINER OPTIMUS ISNT A FREIGHTLINER!!!!!! (New thing I found out recently, more info under the cut)

So this is a freightliner, right? Generic common one you see on the roads. Sure there’s other types, but notice for me the logo.

Straight line with the word “freightliner” in it. simple. Straightforward. Nice.

now take a look for me the truck Optimus scans in age of extinction

Not a freightliner, not the same shape in the slightest. But if it’s not a freightliner, what is it?

That’s a W, and as far as truck brands go that’s the only thing it could logically be. The only truck with a W as its logo is Western Star.

TFAOE came out in 2014, so it’s only reasonable they use a 2014 truck to revamp Optimus, right? Give him that cool new look? Everyone, I give you:

THE 2014 WESTERN STAR 5900!!!

now, I will give slight credit, both truck brands are owned by Daimler Truck North America as a parent company, but both are different. Therefore, I rest my case. Optimus Prime TFAOE is not a freightliner, rather a 2014 western star 5900.
