Round Two: Week 9

Our OTP is finally married!!!! Now that we’ve all enjoyed our front row seat for the wedding, what gift did you bring the lovely couple? A knife block? That set of whiskey tumblers? A two week cruise? Feel free to get creative.

Round Two: Week 8

I tend to go for bright, colorful, and a little bit quirky with my “formal” wear. So this would probably be the dress (though I have a nice purple dress w roses that I would also wear) if I wear attending the wedding tonight. (You can’t see my shoes cause I was totally dressed for Kid’s church, so they were sneakers, but I’d be wear my kickass red pumps with this if I were going somewhere fancy.)

TFCSP: What song reminds you of Captain Swan?

1. Only Us - Dear Evan Hansen

“So what if it's us, What if it's us, And only us, And what came before won't count anymore or matter, Can we try that?” This song, I feel, is super Captain Swan. Both have their own demons, especially the self-worth issues of the main male character, and this song is about looking past that.  2. No Good Deed- Wicked

“Let his flesh not be torn, Let his blood leave no stain, Though they beat him, Let him feel no pain, Let his bones never break, And however they try to destroy him, Let him never die...”

Listen to this song, and instead of Elphaba turning Fiyero into the Scarecrow, imagine it’s Emma turning Killian into the Dark One. You only have to change like six words for it to be perfect.

3. Hello - Lionel Richie

“Cause I wonder where you are and I wonder what you do. Are you somewhere feeling lonely? Or is someone loving you? Tell me how to win your heart, for I haven't got a clue But let me start by saying I love you.”

This song perfectly encapsulates Season 3 Missing Year Captain Swan. 

4. Yours Alone - Valerie Miller and William Wilkerson

“My heart is yours, love, yours alone, love, and in the darkness, you're my light. For in this world, love, there's no other. My heart is yours, love, and yours alone; I am yours, love, and yours alone.”

I think this is a lovely song that fits how they feel about the other. Very sweet.

Week 6: What is your favorite hobby (besides fangirling)?

I don’t know if you would call it a Hobby or not...but I love Mixology!

I love creating and re-creating cocktails. Mixing up flavours and discovering new tastes!  :D As well as being creative in appearance

Week Three: What is your favorite CS moment?

Is every time they so much as look at each other an option?  No?

Alright then. Time for a serious answer. 

Probably this moment: 

Is it one of the most obvious CS moments? Yes. But that doesn’t mean I don’t squeal and get super giddy everytime I watch it. 

For Killian, this was quite an important moment. He traded his ship - his home - which is so precious to him for Emma because he saw a chance at a home with her. If following her through the time portal wasn’t enough to prove that he’s 100% devoted to her, this would certainly let her know. And we can see that Emma is aware of just how huge a sacrifice this was for him. Not to mention that Emma isn’t used to people putting her above their own happiness, so she’s basically in disbelief. This moment was so important for them both, and it led to one of my favorite CS kisses of all-time...

Can’t wait to see what CS moments everyone else loves! There’s never a bad time to fangirl over those two. Also, I really needed this after all the angst we’ve been dealing with.

TFCSP Round Two: Week One - “Hello, my name is… (with a twist)”

Hello, shipmates! My name is Kayla. I’ve chosen The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under VHS tapes for my objects. These movies will always hold a special place in my heart.

When I was in kindergarten, my mom waitressed and my dad worked in an auto parts store. So, my grandparents would often be the ones to pick me up. When my grandma would take me home, we would almost always watch one of these or Balto, and she’d make us bite-sized tuna melts to snack on (tuna and cheese on Ritz crackers, microwaved to melt the cheese). Even recently, we both watched it on Netflix before they removed it even though we weren’t together at the time, and we reminisce about it a lot.

The Faces of Captain Swan Project: Week 12

Two truths and a lie.

Alright, my dears.  One of the following is not true.

1.  My husband and I have visited every Major League Baseball stadium in the US and Canada.  

2.  I was once a guest at the White House where I was awarded a medal by the President of the United States.

3.  I have met the Dalai Lama.
