So recently I've been getting into Asteroid Quest, and I gotta say it's pretty dang interesting! The characters are intriguing, the setting is surreal and so unique and just...well, go and read it yourself! It's been a wonderful read  so far, and I look forward to the rest of it!

So I guess as per usual, here's a little fandom contribution! Quite surprised with how this tune came out! Didn't quite get to use some of the filters and stuff that I wanted, but I liked how it turned out in the end.

A tumblr user by the name of Aiyana wanted some violin transcriptions of these two themes from the Ruby Quest album, so I happily obliged! As a reminder, I am always happy to write these pieces out for you all in any instrument! Just leave an ask in my box, and I will try my best.

My it's been awhile since I've done work on this album! Either way, here's the theme for the chapel that Nan and Henry stumble upon. The chimes here are to mimic church bells, while the low growl from the double bass represents the the beast (who resides just outside).

Anyways, enjoy!

Ack, this was really awkward to write. This is meant to be a panic theme for whatever miscellaneous horrors threatens the protagonists. The tune borrows heavily from previous ideas in both the Nan Quest and  Ruby Quest albums, such as the chromatic pattern featured in the dummy's theme and parts of Ace's theme. Not too exactly sure whether or not this will be the final version of this piece. It's sounds a bit too muffled for my liking at the moment. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

Alrighty, the first song I've ever done on Join.me! *celebrations* So anyways, this is an exposition theme for Nan's dream conversations with Lorenzo (and Pablo).

Well after about four days worth of writing, I am please to present Santiago's theme song: "Freedom". (NOTE: The previous tune "Santiago's Dance" isn't his themesong, but actually the piano solo he wrote "in memory" of Anna). This tune gave me a little trouble, since writing in 3/4 is awkward. Unlike the deranged piano solo, this tune is purposely meant to be subtle and uncertain. There are two reasons for this. First it's a subtle reference to Red's theme from the Ruby Quest album (Red's theme was played on a Violin in D minor, whilst this tune features a Cello in G minor). And most importantly, it's to emphasize the uncertainty of Santiago's character. He's clearly dangerous and bit of a nutcase, and yet at the same time helpful and useful.

Erm, not really a tune in the same sense as "Padre's Blessings" or "Sunrise Hotel". This is more of an atmospheric piece that's meant to create a sense of uneasiness and suspense (similar to Subject 6's theme). This is meant to be the theme for Nan's nightmare, as well as any tense moments that happen in the story. I really like how the low drone sound came out and the grinding chords, but it's not quite as scary as I had hoped it would be. Oh, and the name for this "tune" is "I'm Sorry", the words Pablo kept feverishly repeating in Nan's Dream (well, actually he kept saying, "I'm so sorry).
