Okay, real talk: when Eleanor took Michael out to do karaoke and play arcade games and go bowling, was Michael genuinely enjoying himself and having a great time with his new “friend” and then like 800 reboots later he realized that yeah no he actually really liked being friends with Eleanor much more than he liked trying to torture her
Like most of the stuff Michael does in version 1 make sense within the context of it being the bad place, but if Michael’s affinity for human things is real then it seems like he’d really enjoy hanging out with Eleanor, even as he’s supposed to be torturing her
