Silence persists between them longer than intended, but when eyes finally lift themselves to gaze onto the elder, words begin to leave the younger’s lips once more. “Two to three hours of rest per night is what I can manage. On a good day, maybe four,” another sip is taken of the tea, marking a momentary pause in which Jeongguk considers his words - whether to say more, or leave it at that. Unsurprisingly, the latter option is the one he chooses, so the topic derails to the initial question which commenced the discussion.
“Do you have something for that?”
A part of him hurts for the other; he himself knows too well the exhaustion caused by lack of sleep. Without proper rest, ones body and mind can be horribly effected. Sunggyu leans back, of course he has something for this though, the whole reason why he himself can sleep a good several hours at least is due to this blend. He’d have to mix it a bit with the one for nightmares...Throw a bit of rose petals for taste.
“Of course.” he replied, kneeling down to reach for a couple blends. He pulls up two jars and sets them on the counter before getting the petals off the shelf behind him. “I’ll have to mix these two. One for sleep, the other for nightmares...I’ll add a bit of rose petals for taste.” As he speaks his hands work, grabbing a clear ziplock bag as he pours a bit of each blend, throwing some petals in. “I’ll also give you a few tea bags, empty ones. They’re easy to fill up and use. Unless you have a tea strainer; they’re actually not that expensive and you can find them in most grocery shops.” his voice fade out as he stops mid way in getting the bags. “Oh actually, I have as pare.”
His hand moves to the draw on his left, away from the tea bags on the right, and pulls out a steel strainer, “Fill a cup with hot water, pour some of the blend in the strainer, and let it sit for a good five minutes.”
He placed everything in a small paper bag with the shops logo on it before setting it before Jeongguk. “Is there anything else bothering you? Something tea won’t fix, but rather speaking out it will? You know I’m all ears, Jeongguk. I can try to give some advice if I have it.”
