[this is definitely easier for Kajh - I don’t actually headcanon a lot of Grave Wounds for Dreyll, but I will think about it :|a]kajh; honestly his worst injuries are to his mind. which sounds edgy, but it’s true. he was really traumatized as a young adult by his father. but physical damage was probably when… okay, this delves into my own personal XIV world where dreyll is the WoL and he is just an echo user… anyway, they fight - he’s possessed by an ascian at the time, and she defeats him. but she knew what she was dealing with and she was not going to let an innocent man fall to her (honestly she is probably one of those sorts who hasn’t really KILLED a lot of people). i’m not sure what class she would have been for this encounter, but she pretty much leaves him broken in the snow (i always imagine this happening around the time of ishgard/so in coerthas), BUT she immediately scoops his ass up and heals him and tends his wounds. she did a dam fine job, and he’s only got a few scars from the encounter. meanwhile, he’s left a lot of scars on himself breaking old rune circles that were tattooed on him.dreyll; dreyll avoids as much combat as she can, as a WoL which I mean... that’s real difficult to do. but in most of my hcs she has friends along with her and is much more in the back keeping everyone alive (as whm or sch), or engaging at a distance (brd), she does take up a tank role (pld) early on in her story but she’s still a baby then so she doesn’t get into as much dire combat then. meanwhile, she gets a lot of SMALL injuries, mostly from her own ditziness. i’d really have to do some deep thinking to think of the WORST, but definitely was damaged and broken pretty badly after facing zenos the first time. she’d never been met with such might. it took much longer to mend her wounds after their meeting.[sinday headcanons // ACCEPTING]
