Idea: Judge and Cesar accidentally created the zombie virus
Judge dies at the Vinsmoke house, the center of the first wave
Ceasar and the siblings manage to escape (not together)
ASL manage to survive together for a long time but end up getting separated for two years, in which Luffy makes a caravan of his own (with the strawhats, who are all each looking for their families), Ace ends up in Whitebeard's settlement and Sabo with the revs (obv), they're, ofc, looking for each other
Ace ends up with the Vinsmokes when Whitebeard has a confrontation with the Marines and Blackbeard (they ambushed Whitebeard and his family) and Ace falls into a river that carries him to where the Vinsibs have settled temporarily (they're trying to make their way back home to see if they can find something useful there) and 0&4 fished him out of it
My sister's idea: if you get bitten you can slow down your zombiefication by eating zombies
If I decide to go full silly fun with the au then there's gonna be mutant zombies and not all people who are bitten turn into zombies, some gain powers
Day 5
Soul mates (starts seeing colours when you see your soul mate type) - Shuraiya Bascud x Masked Deuce (basdeu)
Tragedy - Thatch x Banshee (Thaban)
Redraw
turning my tomodachi life's events into a happy modern au, countryside edition
ASUL -> have lived in Raftell since forever, Dadan was Ace's Godmother and took him in after his parents passed, Luffy is technically not under her care since Dragon and Crocodilea re right there (althought they do travel a lot for work) but Luffy just spends that much time with them, similarly with Uta (who moved into the town with Shanks and Shamrock) and Sabo ran away from home (ofc)
WB -> moves into Raftell during Ace's teen years; he brings Thatch, Marco, Izou and Kiku with himself
The Kozukis also move in after their parents' passing (during their young adulthood); Hiyori and Momo bring Tama and Yamato with them
Deuce moves in after getting disowned + running away from home
Sora, the vinsibs and Eponi move in during the kids' teens, after she divorces Judge
Shirahoshi and Fukaboshi have lived there their whole lives (their brothers having moved out for work and study)
Zeff, Shuraiya, Adelle and the Shimotsukis (Zoro, Kuina and Toko) have also lived there their whole lives
Banshee moves in during Ace's teen years too
Katakuri, Brulle and Pudding moved in after the family's collapse (kinda kickstarted by Linlin's death)
and Cora + the hearts move into town during ASL's early teens after escaping Mingo
Canon events (so far) according to my Homodachi Life:
Ace feeling that Ichiji has a crush on him and developping feelings afterwards (Ichiji doesn't realise his own feelings for a while, but that won't get in the way of his happy ending when Ace asks him out)
Ace and Ichiji are the first to get married, and they stay at Dadan's home before really becoming independent
Yonji and Sabo pinning for each other, Sabo is the one to ask Yonji out
Thatch and Banshee move in together before they even develop feelings for each other; Banshee realises her feelings first
Kiku having a small crush on WB before falling face-first for Yamato
Koala crushing hard on Kuina while Isuka has feelings for Koala
Law crushing on Shachi before falling in love with Luffy
Pretty much based on "A wicked tale of Cinderella's step mom"
World:
Low magic, humans only have access through magical items or by winning favours from rarely ever seen magical creatures, like faeries, which mostly live in different realms
ABOVERSE, people âcome of ageâ at 15, which is when their second sex is revealed (i.e., they have their first heat or rut if they become an alpha or omega with a few other variations and sub specifications), however they donât have their debut into society until theyâre 16
period typical misogyny, but directed at omegas (honestly, why do we have so little "mainstream" omegaverse that isn't a modern setting
The kingdom they live in is ruled by a King Regent and his Commanders, who share almost equal power; the current Regent is Edward Newgate.Â
Ace is the prince, being raised and trained by both the WB crew and the old Roger crew; Sabo, who was also adopted by them, intends to become Aceâs right-hand man (even tho he presents as an omega), and Luffy trains to become the head of the royal guard.
Timeline:
Sora and Judge had a young romance that soured after marriage, when Judge decided to focus on everything but his family, following a path of business and success that was going well until it wasnât, and its when he started considering using his children as bargaining chips despite them literally being babies that Sora took her inheritance, her dowry, the babies, and left.
With her cousin Jessica and her husband, Jonathanâs support, she makes a life of her own in a smaller mansion on the outskirts of the capital. They still have servants and all that, but she can now safely raise her babies as she sees fit. It's a little awkward; the boys are 8, and Judge was fucking them up, so Sora has to do a lot of re-teaching to fix/start fixing their relationships.
Zeff becomes a chef at their house when the boys are 10. This turns out to be a very good thing for them.
When the boys are 12, Sora, secretly, receives a letter (from Judge) for which she had to travel back to Germa and has been missing since (2 years).
Jessica and Jonathan insist on helping, even taking them in, but they travel a lot for work, so the siblings refuse, preferring to wait in place for their motherâs return.
The boys are 14 when Reiju receives the letter informing them of their mother's death. Jessica and Jonathan are away, so Reiju steps up to become the guardian for her siblings and make sure to set them up to have the best lives they can hope for, especially with them about to turn 15, and soon after, theyâll have their Debut TM.
She starts preparing everything by visiting the local town with her siblings and see the different shops nearby, especially searching for a tailor, itâs not a rich part of the town, which is perfect for her, without parents to depend on, they donât have a steady income to trust, their uncle and aunt usually send them an allowance, but they tend to get less when theyâre travelling, which is often. So she needs to start being more careful about how they spend their money.
In the city, a youngster in a rush ends up bumping into Reiju and sending her to the floor, and is only stopped from leaving without even giving an apology by an angry Ichiji stopping him (heâll later be grateful that the one who stopped him was Ichiji and not the explosive Niji), thereâs a small argument but itâs dissolved by the boyâs guardian appearing and making him apologize properly. The manâs name is Thatch, and heâs looking after his friendâs young alpha son, Rouge.Â
The boys turn 15, and the first to present is Sanji, who is overtaken by a sudden heat that has everyone panicking. Reiju has to scold Niji for making disparaging comments about Sanji being an omega (not to Sanjiâs face). The next one is Yonji, who ends up in a fight due to pre-rut impulsiveness (and in his defense, it was someone who insulted his family). Next is Ichiji, who hides in his room for a while until Reiju forces her way in and finds him already in heat. They come pretty quickly, in less than two months, one almost right after the other, so after Ichijiâs heat passes, Niji waits for his turn. But he never presents as either Alpha or Omega, and, for some reason, this bothers him a lot (he doesnât like that heâs the only one of the siblings who is a beta).
Despite everything, Reiju is having some trouble dealing with her siblingsâ presentations; however, Thatch, with whom theyâve made a friendship along with his charge, and he, along with his beta wife, Banshee, help guide the siblings into the world of adults and nobility. As it turns out, Thatch is a nobleman.
As the boysâ debut draws closer, everyone grows more nervous. Fortunately, Jonathan and Jessica return just in time and take over organizing everything. It's also around this time that they discover that someone had been stealing from the childrenâs allowance whenever they travelled, and this gets solved pretty easily.
However, the siblingsâ debut only complicates things for them, especially since now theyâre at the age to start considering courtships and needing to think when and how to settle down, and while Yonji and Niji have more freedom of choice for their futures, Ichiji and Sanji, being omegas, are pretty much stuck at becoming someoneâs mate. Sanji refuses to consider any courtship since heâs focused on following his dream of becoming a cook under Chef Zeffâs guidance, but Ichiji decides to go along with the best bidder for the sake of the family, which means that he is willing to entertain some shitty alphas and betas if theyâre of high standing or rich or seem to be able and willing to take care of his family, this way, heâll also give Sanji the freedom to follow his dream. So far, the best bidder is one Marshall D Teach, who, although rough, is also not the shitties alpha that has approached him, so Ichiji forces himself to ignore his own feelings (some of being his love for Rouge, who, despite clearly being of a noble family, seems to be of a lower standing than Ichiji, who is in a precarious situation).
Reiju is stressed because she doesnât completely approve of Teach, but Ichiji is right about him being one of their best options; she wishes that Ichiji could be able to follow his heart, but also doesnât want to trample all over his efforts, and, on top of that, sheâs unwilling to ask for much help from Thatch and Jessice since she promised their mother that she would look after her little brothers.
Meanwhile, Rouge, who is actually the prince Portgaz D Ace in disguise, is kinda losing his mind over Ichijiâs courtship, and has been unable to tell him his true identity (not for a lack of trying).
CUE A THREE-DAY LONG MASQUERADE BALL MADE IN HOPES THAT THE PRINCE WOULD FIND A MATE.
Aceâs identity reveal to Ichiji doesnât go very well. Ichiji is angry and, worse yet, tells Ace that he already said yes to Teachâs proposal. Ace insists, but Ichiji is a man of his word⌠if only Ace had said something earlier.
All the while, Yonji and Sabo have a grand time at the ball, and Sanji realises that the rowdy alpha with whom he has been fighting at Zeffâs restaurant is a royal knight. And Niji accidentally (?) eavesdrops on Ace and Ichiji, and gets mad at both, at Ace for taking so long to reveal such crucial information and at Ichiji for accepting the proposal and not saying anything to any of them (yet), he wants to believe that Reiju or their aunt would have stopped him from making such a decision if he hadnât kept it a secret.
And it all goes from bad to worse when Thatch almost dies at Teachâs hands, and the alpha picks his fiancĂŠe up before fleeing.
Six down! One more day to go! And today I bring you a m/f ship that I think would be super cute (and tragic)
