Mother Goose & Gander š¤š½ Arlo Thacker & Quell
Wow! Everyone really seems to like my Ned drawing.Ā
Here is the next amnesty drawing. For Thacker, I had a very specific look in mind. I always imagined him looking kinda like the late actore, Mickey Jones. A scruffy looking bearded guy with gentle eyes. Iāll draw Duck and Aubrey when I get the chance. My plan is to eventually draw all the player characters from every campaign.Ā
šTaz PCs but make them animal crossingš
Part Three: Amnesty š
my take on the amnesty crew
and before you ask, no Iām not over it
hereās a version without the extra pizzazz
Fan cast for TAZ Amnesty part 2!
Arlo Thacker- Wen Jiang
Mama/Madelyn Cobb- Queen Latifah
Barclay- Ram Charan
Dream Job, TAZ edition: Transcribing the notes from Thackerās āoldest functioning computerā to a newer one. Maybe even like, a Dropbox or something.
I want to talk about Clint McElroy's connection with the Big Bads. How Griffin, continuously, finds a special place for Clint's characters as a peacemaker, as the hopeful one, as always seeing the good in those that have done him and the universe wrong.
Isn't that so profound for what type of father Clint is? How Griffin without a doubt knows that he can throw anything at his dad and he will respond with peace.
Especially Thacker and the Quell. I know we didn't get to spend a lot of time with Thacker, but I'm in love with the character. I just love Thacker out in the world with the Quell, who went from this angry, destructive deity who once possessed and stole years from Thacker's life and now has shifted into something small. Wants quiet. Has a backpack. I can imagine her and Thacker walking together in silence. Thacker chuckles as he logs a new entry about a pudding tree while the Quell gazes upon a world they almost destroyed.
And God, I could talk about Ned Chicane all day long but all I'll say is Clint flexed in Amnesty. He shined. He once again (don't think I forgot about Merle, who deserves his own post) found a way to place forgiveness on the most unforgivable characters. So easily.
So hey, just know if you ever mess up, Clint McElroy thinks you deserve a second chance. And probably a third. And fourth. And even if you fuck up so bad you nearly destroy the world, Clint will still be there if you wanna take a walk, sit on the beach, or play a game of chess.
so we all went through something life changing when the quell showed up at thackerās door, right?
