The phi dip chin doesn’t originate in Thai mythology and isn’t fully apart of Thai culture as a whole, its more exclusive to Chinese and Thai Chinese cultures. This is the case here, just wanted to make sure that was clear👍

Back from the dead with an undead character concept I made during the beginning of the year. Name on the concept is a place older name (Nari)

 This story takes place around the 1700 in Siam. A vampire coffin was smuggled onto a ship of a British merchant. The vampire became loose during their trade in the Siam city, Krungsri Ayutthaya.

A thai woman was bitten and reborn as a vampire from a western myth and struggles to relate to the supernatural creatures native to Thailand.

The idea was to explore the myths of different supernatural creatures, folklores and how each version bare similarity to one another but at the same time remains unique to their home country origins.

Vampire lady will also be recurring  character to the story of these three.

Had you checks put Disney channel new cartoon called amphibia starring Anne who's Thai, who brown skinned. Her voice attress is part Thai. There gonna be an episodewhere she share food of her culture

yeah, i literally found out about amphibia last week and I was really surprised that i hadnt heard about it cuz I love animated shows. i was also really happy to see that her voice actress is brenda song. brenda still looks freaking amazing btw.
