I cant.. I can't believe I missed

I can’t…I can’t believe I missed.. 

I was a trained sniper with years of experience. How the fuck did i miss a target that big. Sure it was moving but it wasn’t that fast. Nothing could be that fast. I looked around for the target again. It was a few more yards away but not out of range. I lined up the shot again. I pulled the trigger. 

What the hell?! I missed again. 

The target moved so fast I couldn’t see it that time. I looked around desperately for it but it was long gone. I probably wouldn’t get another shot like that. What was it anyway? It certainly wasn’t human. 

"Looking for me" 

My blood ran cold as I realized the voice was coming from behind me.
