To expand on this situation more, I personally think the story behind his transition was done with the help of one of the priests of Dibella. Right now what I got brewing is this unnamed priest (still thinking of names atm) and Thallor had a lot of sexual tension between them but Thallor would always freeze up and shy away when the priest would try to initiate affection of any kind. And finally he is told by Thallor the extent of why he wishes to worship Dibella despite not actively practicing in the way most priests do and well…come to find out he wants to transition.

I feel the priest would help Thallor pray and work with Dibella to get this blessing, and the next time they meet and the priest initiates affection, Thallor practically throws himself at him. At least that’s the draft I have going. Idk if I’ll ever write this as a fic but- ah well!
