ok so I just watched tadc episode 9 and I know I'm supposed to be on a social media break but guys. I have thoughts in my brain and I fear shouting them into the void is the only way for me to rid myself of them. Uhh spoiler warning and also warning for negative opinions lol

It's just... 3 years, 9 episodes, and somehow I didn't realize until NOW that I... don't like the amazing digital circus. And I dont even have a good reason not to, like there isn't anything wrong with it, I just. Don't enjoy it? I really wanted to though!! This whole time I kept thinking "hey you never know, maybe they'll turn it around and you'll really like it!" But um, that didn't happen. I think the fact is that I never really connected to any of the characters or the main themes of the show, or something idk? And so im just. I feel like I wasted 3 years of my life lmao?? Why did I do this to myself lol ?? The biggest clown in the circus is me 😔😔😔

Anyways random thoughts about the actual episode:

That entire section in between Jax abstracting -> Pomni hugging Jax, not to be dramatic but it made me physically feel unwell lol??? This is how I realized I am clearly not the target audience of this show lol. But you know I gotta give the writers and animators props for making something so vicerally uncomfortable without any overtly horror elements, I am impressed

CAINE'S CHARACTER ARC MADE ME SO HAPPY. GUYS IT WAS SO GOOD 🥹🥹🥹 OHHHH THE FOUND FAMILY TROPE STRIKES AGAIN, MY KRYPTONITE! THE SCENES AT THE END WITH HIM HANGING OUT WITH EVERYONE OMGGGG 🥹 Dare I say it? I think Caine got the best character arc out of everyone? Also shout out to the writers for making me go from "this guy is lowkey annoying" to "oh this guy is lowkey insane" to "THIS GUY IS LOWKEY ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS ??" I know my Caine fan mutuals are winning 🔥

The table scene GUYS THEY RECREATED THE TABLE SCENE!! That was one of my predictions, actually! (I wrote a bunch of my predictions down actually to see how many I'd get right, and I literally wrote "more uplifting version of the theme song plays while they recreate the table scene but this time showing how the cast has grown closer" lol). But I didn't predict the table being ROUND instead of long to show that THEY'RE ALL CLOSER!!! Literally genius ngl I loved that

At the very end when Pomni showed up on screen, I literally said "hi" out loud and waved at her, because that's a normal thing to do, so when she freaking TURNED AROUND, STARED STRAIGHT AT ME AND WAVED BACK ?? I was shook haha. It was a good ending :)

Anyways in conclusion I think that was pretty much the perfect ending for this show! Honestly I'm pretty satisfied! Literally my only complaint is that the show is just clearly not for me lol, but you know what that's okay, and I hope those who were a little more invested in the story found the ending even better than I did!!

And even then, Ezran has stood his ground against his brother. She's seen Callum perform the jerkface dance too many times to think otherwise. 

And Ezran, though, Ezran is different. He’s kind hearted like his brother, but he isn’t foolish or reckless like Callum is (the way Callum has proven to be, anyway, these past few weeks especially).
