requesting... gaming laptop suggestions
HEY UHH SO my beloved space machine finally kicked it today (RIP space machine, 26 Aug 2016 - 28 Dec 2023). i am now soliciting replacement gaming laptop suggestions.
Things I am looking for:
yes, a gaming laptop. i want to be able to use it in bed or on my kitchen table. i don't need or want a desktop.
size: i think like 16" screen would be good? 17" is also ok but i don't want larger than that (hard to fit into my backpack)
weight: I don't care if it's heavy. space machine was 4.2 kg and that was fine.
"""specs""": i don't know! that's why i'm making this post. i want something decently powerful so that it will last me a while. i'm not playing a lot of "hip" "powerful" "games" these days, but i would like to be able to run, for example, a baldur's gate 3-like game on low or moderate graphics settings.
