As tumblr dot com lays here dying, perhaps quickly, perhaps slowly, it occurs to me that I’ll be really fucking sad actually. This has been my home on the internet for the last 6 years, now taken from me by corporate incompetence. Tbh pretty sure yahoo is actively trying to kill tumblr at this point, their system is non functional to the point of being intentional, they’ve just declared the whole enterprise a sunk cost and are creating a reason to shut it down. If tumblr was the new livejournal It’s just a matter waiting for the new tumblr now. Still, I have a lot of memories here and as much of a shitshow it always was, I’m gonna miss it.
