hii I just read “the falling” and oh.my.God.

I love angsty stories especially when they are well written and trust me when I tell you that yours is a masterpiece. I never personally been through a situation like that (and I hope I’ll never will) but the way you narrated every situation and how you described reader’s feelings made my own heart break for her.

What I was most genuinely curious about is more on the why Joel cheated on her since he seemed to be so desperate once he was caught and once the reader walked out of the house. Is it a subject you’re gonna explore more in the second part or can you already give us a little explanation from Joel’s pov?

First of all,

Now, the way Joel acts and speaks and thinks is written on purpose that way, I'm sure you already figured that out. The second part is mostly Joel's POV, we're gonna witness how lost he was and how he begins to realize that. It's gonna be a shock to him, that's for sure! Although I'm debating whether his reasoning for cheating on his wife should be in the form of us reading his inner thoughts or as a direct confession to the reader; I'm leaning towards the second option, it sounds more deserving for the both of them..

Like yes "The Penguin" the character I love as well, but I genuinely also adore the animal too. They've been a comfort animal for me since I was like 7 years old.

And it absolutely brings me joy to know that when people know that and see penguins and think of me it warms my heart you have no idea.
