Thoughts that keep me up at night:

Thanwa catalyzed a sense of freedom in Trin that he himself doesn't seem to be able to keep up with just yet.

Thanwa is so outwardly free and rebellious at first glance but despite his obvious capacity for depth, he's living on the borderline which is to be expected given his family history.

He's too scared to dive in at a time where Trin is ready to and that was partly triggered by him.

I just hope they'll be able to navigate their differences without an ocean of hurt but I know that's not likely.

I'd just like to express my undying anxiety over the fact that Naran is walking around with a document against communism, an alleged receipt of a corrupt deal the army (his boyfie) made, and nudes of his army colonel boyfriend.

the costumes were super cute but didn't help cause you're not Clark Kent, Krailert, you're a damn famous army colonel out with your wigged up boyfriend while your sad wife longingly set a hand on your pillow (girl give in to the urges and jump Veera you deserve to get laid too).

Oh and Victor... I don't want a university student to get with a professor at all but I really don't want my boy to be heartbroken RIGHT WHILE HE'S STARTING TO BE MORE ACCEPTING OF PEOPLE AND NUANCES IN DEBATE BECAUSE OF HIS IMPOSSIBLE CRUSH.

I think that's all the anxiety right there.

Thanwa was totally normal this episode nothing to worry about and I'm not worried at all that his fuck everything attitude is gonna cost him his relationship with Trin (going to Trin's meeting was unhinged behavior).

Tell me if there's anything I've missed I can absolutely take it (I can't and I will)

The way Ep 3 contrasts Krailert taking Naran by the hand and pulling him into a CLOSET, into the dark with Thanwa grabbing Trin by the hand and pulling him into the open, into the light, into the garden......oh man.

FINALLY watched the next shine episode and it's like a whole luxury nine course michelin star delicious dinner...

I'm in awe a little tbh. The characters, the plot, the cinematography.

I just LOVE when qls feel expensive. The main reason why the loyal pin is my favorite GL is just cause of how exquisite it felt. And I feel the same will happen with shine. It's just so well made!!

Plot wise I can't say much right now. I don't know anything about Thai history so I can't really tell how accurate everything is. But I'm intrigued by it all. I like the hippie happy go lucky side mixed with the anger and sort of melancholia of everything else. Mile as a hippie with his million dollar smile might be my new favorite thing ever. I'm so intrigued by thanwatrin. It'll be interesting to watch them fall in love.

Im also eating Lert and Naran up even though I've gotten all of 2 minutes of them lol

Also already adopted veera cause he seems like the greenest forest who deserves all the good things.

I'm so happy that I like the series. Boc shows are very hit or miss for me. Mileapo are everything and more!!
