Sooo... anyone else terified that Claudia and Soren will end up the next Aurthur and Morgana? No? Just me? Okay then.
Okay I’ve been seeing SO MANY antis talking about how all us Reylos are like, excusing Kylo’s actions or saying that he wasn’t bad and like... WHERE? To be clear, when we point out that there are reasons that he did shitty things, we aren’t saying that what he did was OKAY. We are saying that there is a reason WHY. It is by no means OKAY that he joined Snoke- he did it because he had nowhere else to turn. About 90% of the Reylo stuff I have read/seen revolves around a Kylo Ren redemption arc. Maybe it’s just me, but good people don’t need redemption arcs. We know he is shit. We also know that he is not wholly evil, that he has potential, and that potential is INTERESTING. He is a bad person who is lost and confused and wants to be good and wants to do right and has no idea how to do that. That’s what makes him interesting. He is confused. Kylo’s character isn’t the typical “this character is PURE EVIL” or “this character is ALL GOOD” because literally NO ONE in these new films is like that. NONE of our main characters have made all good or bad choices. In TLJ, we saw Rey and Finn and Poe get HUGE development. That was exciting, because character development is exciting. We love these characters because we see them grow and learn about themselves. Fuckin- Finn goes from running away from danger to literally running INTO IT (stupid idea yes plz don’t die, Finn) to learning something about what is REALLY important. Saving what we love. Poe learns that saving lives is more important that blowing things up. Rey learns to let go of her yearning for parents who will never return and save those she loves. Kylo learned more about himself... But unlike our other mains, he isn’t there yet. He is still conflicted. He still needs to GROW. He still needs to find his own peace- peace that will most likely come with his redemption. And that’s why he is still so interesting. He is untapped potential. We don’t know quite where he will go. And in a character, that is a good thing.

- “I prefer to call it witty banter.”
Can we
Can we all just agree that Pensatuckys' development has been the best on the show, like this girl went from a crazy narrow minded methhead bitch who would shoot you for so much as giving her a dirty look, try to kill you for not having the same beliefs as her and personally burn every lgbtq+ member at the stake, to being a not so crazy after all CLEAN (still a bitch at times) more open minded person who has realised shooting people for stupid reasons is wrong, feels remorse, who has put everything with Piper behind her, who is now best friends with the Big Lesbian Boo and now realises love is love no matter what it looks like. I mean talk about character development, if you want a good redemption story OITNB is the place to come, that's how you write redemption my dudes.
