I'd be glad if this is Rock's exit from this arc. He's a scumbag but he is Malius Phantom, the smartest thief alive. I do not want school kids to catch him, that would be too easy. (I don't think if we ever got his canon rank, but there's no way he managed to break free of Shakky's Ultimate Hell without being at least Chet[8].)

But what Nishi did managed to bruise Rock's ego, give Jazz the validation he deserves and got Malius Phantom out of the situation. It's brilliant.

The Walter Park whistle. Rock used the very thing he gifted Jazz in mockery, telling him that a pro like himself would never get caught up in a sticky situation. This is like coming a full circle, and it feels great.
