TV Station, 7/19/2025 Issue ft. Gavv & Gozyuger Cast Members (translation below)
Publication: July 16, 2025
Chinen Hidekazu x Hino Yusuke Shoji Kohei x Miyabe Nozomi
Chinen: In the film, Shouma gets lost in another world, one where his mother is still alive. There's even a scene where Shouma vents his feelings towards his mother. Although it takes place in a world different from the one he's used to, the story unfolds in a way that brings comfort to Shouma.
Hino: The theme is about sweets, so the imagery is poppin, but the subject matter gives off a rather heavy impression. I want you to focus on how cool Kamen Rider Gavv is as he overcomes his challenges.
Miyabe: There's the world that's the same as always, and the world where each of them doesn't have a painful past, and you can see how these events have changed them. It'll be interesting to compare the differences between them.
Shoji: The story is bitter, but the scenery and the outfits worn by the characters who appear are colorful and poppin. In the other world, Shouma goes to a castle and other places he's never seen before. I simply envied the locations (laughs).
Chinen: They were also particular about the locations, and they're very large in scale. Normally, I tend to overthink about a variety of things, so this time, I thought it might be good to just give in and get carried away. I tried to act with the feeling that I was immersed in the scenery right in front of my eyes, while still firmly presenting myself as Shouma.
Hino: In the other world, Hanto's wearing some really gaudy clothes. However, the extras are also wearing colorful costumes, so he totally blends in. You won't be able to tell where Hanto is (laughs).
Miyabe: In Sachika's case, basically nothing's changed, except for whether she's met Shouma or not. She's still kind and watches over and supports everyone. So, please watch it with that peace of mind!
Shoji: The other world Lakia has a really cool outfit. I hate saying this myself, but my visuals look incredible (laughs). However, other than that, there were many things that left me wondering……
Chinen: That gap was amazing (laughs). I hope you'll enjoy our bonds that transcend worlds and our collaboration with FANTASTICS.
This is where Chinen-kun is amazing Hino: Through filming, his purity has been refined. Miyabe: He's pure. His ability to absorb things on set is amazing. Shoji: I'm impressed by his unwavering determination to pursue his ambitions!
This is where Hino-kun is amazing Chinen: He's very compassionate and, to my surprise, cries easily. Miyabe: He's serious during filming, but it's still amusing (laughs). Shoji: He's got a positive personality that's loved by everyone.
This is where Shoji-kun is amazing Chinen: He's stoic and is incredibly proactive! Hino: He's like a reliable big brother. Miyabe: When I'm struggling, the advice he gives saves me.
This is where Miyabe-san is amazing Chinen: Her beautiful movements are a perfect fit for a heroine! Hino: I was deeply moved by her sincere approach to the production. Shoji: That she "found her place" through her struggles. _
Fuyuno Mio x Suzuki Hideharu x Kanda Masakazu Matsumoto Jin x Imamori Maya x Kimura Kaiki
Fuyuno: The film begins with a shocking scene where the giant god Tega Sword, who supports the Gozyugers, dies. Although they're a Super Sentai team, they're all outcasts and rivals, so the development where they join forces is a must see.
Suzuki: There's also a scene where they form a circle, which has never been done in the TV series before.
Kanda: As you'll see from the story, I think the underlying theme of "anyone is allowed to have a dream" is unique to the film.
Matsumoto: There are many scenes depicting "the ultimate Summer vacation," so watching it at the theater will make it a memorable Summer vacation experience.
Imamori: I think people will come to love Gozyuger. I want people who don't know anything about the Super Sentai series to watch it too.
Kimura: Some people may get to know about Gozyuger through the film and then start watching the TV series, and the film will also include some elements similar to that of an "episode zero" that will make the TV series even more enjoyable, so I'm looking forward to seeing how people will react.
Kanda: I was surprised to see a trailer featuring us playing at the theater (laughs).
Fuyuno: Personally, I'd like for you to pay attention to the scene where Hoeru encourages Tega Sword after he's defeated. I think it's the most important scene in the film.
Kanda: In the cooperative battle, the shot of them standing back to back is also notable. This is rare for the Gozyugers.
Imamori: A highlight of the film is that while they reluctantly form an alliance and fight together, it seems that they grow fond of each other, as they want to continue fighting together.
Suzuki: In the TV series, we act in a way that doesn't show how close we really are behind the scenes, but in the film, we consciously acted in a way that would show off how strong our friendship is.
Matsumoto: We'd watch each other's performances and then adjust our own acting accordingly. Unlike the Gozyugers, who are a group of outcasts, we're actually much more cooperative.
Kimura: They also took turns so that their poses wouldn't overlap (laughs). They all may be outcasts, but this creates a sense of mutual trust.
Fuyuno: As a result, all six characters stand out, which is typical of the Gozyugers. In addition to these six, the film will also feature the appearance of previous Reds, as well as the prominent guest cast. Please be sure to watch the Gozyugers in action at the theater.
This is where Fuyuno-kun is No.1 Kimura: Mio has the number one mental strength. Matsumoto: He never complains. Imamori: He's incredibly level headed.
This is where Suzuki-kun is No.1 Matsumoto: He's tolerant of everything. Kanda: He has a gentle personality toward everyone. Fuyuno: Even when I act stupid or imitate Rikuo, he forgives me.
This is where Kanda-kun is No.1 Fuyuno: He's the most multitalented out of the six of us. Suzuki: He's friendly and has perfect big brother vibes. Kimura: When I'm struggling with my acting, he always gives me advice and helps me out.
This is where Matsumoto-kun is No.1 Kimura: He's got a lovable personality. Kanda: He'll mess around in the dressing room, but he acts with determination during the actual performance, so he's number one at separating private time from work.
This is where Imamori-san is No.1 Kimura: She's just so cute. Suzuki: The atmosphere on set changes when she arrives. Kanda: Her presence is like a diffuser for us (laughs).
This is where Kimura-kun is No.1 Imamori: Simply put, he's an attention seeker (laughs). Suzuki: He's clingy, wouldn't you say? (laughs). Matsumoto: He acts as the "bridge" that connects us.
