some sketch (゜▼゜*)
Still thinking of that knife…
Still thinking of how Donloe kept it to remind him of the worst day of his life
Then how he kept it to show himself what he has escaped from - how he had found his life and found love and found happiness…
And then he gave the knife to Ethan, with all the weight of that symbolism behind it…
And then Ethan gave it to Benji…
And then Paris used to save Benji’s life…
I’m going to have write this…
Ohh - Editing to add - symbolism is so important in these movies. Hardly anything personal or emotional is said out loud (look at Ethan’s last speech to Luther - the light joking tone) but they are heavy with symbolism. That knife going from Donloe to Ethan to Benji MEANS something
That’s a knife?!
I want that knife Hannibal lecter has in the film
THIS IS MY SEXUALITY
TINY FOOD, TINY RAZOR, TINY KNIFE.
