I just thought of something: Steve wrote in the Notebook about the reader, right? And I guess he wrote things in it he liked about her, so Bucky gets the book when Steve is gone (or did he get it before that? To check out the stuff Steve had?) What if the book helped Bucky fall in love with her, because Steve put these things in it?

I'm sure it definitely helped! In my mind, Steve showed him the notebook in Wakanda to help him adjust to the new century too. And he just happened to see her pages in there. I might do a One Shot about it, but basically it leads to a discussion about both of them liking her because Bucky started to earlier. Its a really complicated idea that I have to think more about and pay around with, but that's where my mind is heading.

I have a notebook that has the beginnings of a book that quickly deteriorated into nothing and a couple character ideas into it as well as a page so emotionally charged everytime I see it. This notebook is the notebook that I carry on conversions with myself about my problems and once the problem has passed I burn the page it was written on. This is also the notebook I quit bringing to school and leave under a counter because one time someone tried to look in it. This is the notebook that has a page that will probably never be burnt. Add now I add another page that will most likely live on in it. Never being burnt.
