I am concerned that working in the lab too long may make me go insane and morph into some sort of creature, for the following reasons:

I spend waaay too much time on the phone with tech support troubleshooting various machines

as a consequence of this I am daily learning more about how regular cleaning, maintenance and quality control keeps the system functioning well

so I am developing intense grudges against people who makes my life harder by refusing to follow lab procedures, not labeling samples, and not cleaning up after themselves

also I’m off the floor so people don’t really talk to me unless they need something, which can be alienating

if I wake up one day as a giant praying mantis and bite everyone’s heads off you can’t say I didn’t warn you
