In case it wasn't obvious, a significant amount of my free time is spent listening to music and looking like that DiCaprio meme whenever the lyrics have any similarity to something I like lol.
And of course you don't have to listen to everything I send if you don't want to lol, but I found a song literally yesterday that reminded me of your Armin so much, specifically in BECK, which is why I wanted to show you in particular. Wanna know what you think!

Honestly, my first thought when I saw which song you had sent me was "Armin would definitely be into Journey." My second was that I'm honoured that you thought of BECK Armin because of this song.
This part in particular. I've been trying to sprinkle the theme of displacement in Armin's story for a while now, and wasn't sure if anyone was quite picking it up. He's a character who's lost his home once as a child and has never quite rebuilt one. What's more, he's made a point out of not wanting to rebuild, preferring to explore the world or die with the SC, which I think is a bit of a lie he tells himself. Seeking adventure when stability is certain is one thing, but Armin doesn't really have much of a choice in this, and while I believe he's a thrill seeker at heart, he does deserve the security of a place and people to call his own.
So yeah, I've been trying to subtly play with this, and I'm glad it comes through at the very least on a subconscious level! Thank you for this!
