Knock, knock!

Touzoku looked away from the mirror where he had been adjusting the white tie around his neck, to turn to the door. For once, he had even managed to fasten every button on his red button-up - he wanted to make a good impression, after all, especially for Ryo!

“I think that’s them!” he chimed out, going to answer. A quick glance into the peephole confirmed it, and Touzoku opened the door, revealing a rather young looking boy on the other side.  A brunet with matching doe eyes that shined as brightly as the smile he wore.

“Jamie - come in!” Touzoku stepped aside, and the boy, Jamie, entered, mindful to remove his shoes to leave by the door. “Did you get here okay?”

Jamie giggled, straightening himself to shake Touzoku’s hand. “We did, thanks! Is Ryo-san almost ready? Heh, not that you’re no fun to have around, but I’ve been looking forward to meeting him finally!”

The Egyptian gave a crooked grin, playfully pushing the much shorter male before calling out, “Ryo! The paranormal investigator’s here!”

Immediately, Jamie’s brows narrowed, and he stuck his tongue up at the man. “You were supposed to let me tell!”

I was already drawing this today, but after @jamiecakeconfections sent me that ask about the ship, I made sure to clean it up and post it tonight. An obscure af rotg ship, Tooth and Jamie.

Coming from behind, Jamie pulls Tooth into a protective hug. He's silent, face already nestled in her feathers.

She’s a blushing mess, hands hiding her face as her wings vibrated between them with her embarrassment.“…I- I didn’t think you’d hear all that.”

Did she say too much? Toothiana didn’t mind him hearing her defensive words on his behalf. How could she say anything else but good things about him? But the rest… She got caught up in herself and might have said too much.

"Jack, I'm going out for a walk. Will you come with me?"

“Walking? Kiddo, when I go anywhere, I travel in style.” Off the ground in seconds, Jack flew around Jamie and offered a hand. “Need a lift?”

A loud snort before dissolving into giggles, hiding them in her hands.

Tooth eyed him with a merry look on her face.“It sounds so ridiculous when you talk like that!”
