           One thing certainly had not changed, he still loved Ren. He was going to contribute that to the small remaining part of Reason. But he certainly had some respect for the former canine. After all, he’d helped Reason realize that he was an essential part of him, a part from Sei, of course. He’d also helped aid in him being in control, as Reason had become guilty afterwards and had slowly allowed for Desire to take over. Thus, he was rather intent on giving back to the former canine. Even if he was uninterested in that. ( Forgive him, it had been a while since he had gotten to do something entertaining. )

          There was that familiar voice screaming at him not to harm Ren. Oh, shut up. He wasn’t going to do anything to Ren. He just wanted to play. “Ren.” He voice was almost a purr as he placed a hand on that clothed chest. He pressed closer, until their bodies were touching, with a smirk spreading across his features. Gold eyes met chocolate ones, the former becoming slightly lidded with lust. “Ren.” He repeated, need dripping into his voice. “You should keep me some company,” He drew his finger across his chest teasingly. 

          He was going to be as careful as he could. He did not want to push Ren away. But he still wanted pleasure. Well, that was ONE thing that he didn’t mind receiving. If Ren wanted to get rough with him, then he wouldn’t mind that either.

Oops. Clear drooped a little guiltily when he saw how badly he had startled Ren, the poor man was even clutching his chest. It reminded him of when he had first visited this house, how Aoba had scolded him and told him that it was bad for the heart to enter that way.

“Ah- sorry, sorry!” Clear scampered up to him and patted Ren’s chest in a strange sort of apology, as if that would soothe his racing pulse. Sorry, heart. “I didn’t mean for that to be Ren-san’s surprise!”

   “The fact is though...I’ve hurt people.” He crossed his arms and sighed. “I don’t know how or when I’m going to pay but...I will.” He sat down slowly and chewed on his lip. “All those people I hurt...used scrap on without...knowing what I was doing...” 

    He closed his eyes tightly. “It’s going to happen and...if it does I need to know that you’ll take care of Granny...” And he meant it; he genuinely thought he was going to die. After all he’d done, it wasn’t really surprising that he thought people would come to kill him.

“It’s very interesting!” Clear interjected emphatically. He was indeed listening with rapt attention underneath his mask, eyes fixed on Ren. It was funny how Ren didn’t seem to realize how extraordinary his own existence was.

Even after all this time, Clear was still marveling over the fact that the person he was currently speaking to used to be only a foot tall, used to have a snout instead of a face- and now here he was! Sitting across from him on the other side of the table, smiling and chatting like any normal human being would be.

How could anything be mundane about this?

“What did you eat? What did you buy?” Clear leaned forward intently, hands resting on his crossed ankles. “Does Ren-san have any favorite foods yet?”
