favourite books!!
OKAY YAY I HAVE SOOO MANY (ain't in my order of liking but lessgo)
1. The Book Thief - Markus Zusak
It made me happy. And then it destroyed me.
Fav character: Rudy
2. To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee
Oh this one's a classic. If someone reads this and doesn't like it they automatically make it to my hitlist. Seriously.
Fav character: Jem
3. After the Funeral - Agatha Christie
THIS. BOOK. OMG. So like the style of writing? The atmosphere created by the author (aka queen of crime)? Chef's kiss.
Fav character: The murderer. I like their chain of thought, I like their motive, I relate to them. Not on the intense level but I can relate to a certain extent.
4. The Giver - Louis Lowry
Please this novel deserves an entire appreciation post: IT IS SO WELL-WRITTEN. The context, the dystopian atmosphere, the way it ends. I love this book because it provides a whole new perspective on the world. Also, it's good for imaginative minds.
Fav character: Asher, he's a delight.
5. A Separate Peace - John Knowles
Another book that destroyed me. This one's more on the philosophical side and set in a pre-WW2 era New England boarding school for boys. Spoiler: you're gonna cry.
Fav character: Phineas
6. The Yearling - Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings
COUNTRYSIDE STORY YAY. I read this when I was 12 and please, it made me cry so much, so hard. I was sad for two whole days and didn't touch the book until I was ready to face it again. But a must-read for everybody who loves country stories.
Fav character: Jody and Flag, as a pair.
7. Angels and Demons - Dan Brown
It's dark and it influenced my beliefs immensely. That's all I've got.
Fav character: uh... none.
8. The Maze Runner Series - James Dashner
YES ALL 5 OF THEM. I haven't read The Crank Palace yet so idk about that, but the rest are like, the best sci-fi books I've read in a while.
Fav character: Newt
9. Short Stories by Edgar Allan Poe
Hats off to the greatest writer of all time. Stories about death are exactly my cup of tea. Death of humans? Perfect.
Fav story: The Masque of the Red Death
.

.
Yep that's it.
Actually, there's gonna be a few more new additions but that's it...for now.
trick or treat!
Trick have some SPOOKY EMOJIS 🎃👻🦇💀
you also get a wiki article I've been reading recently except this one is ✨halloweeny✨
I FOUND THE FANFIC ONE
☕️😂❤️💡
YES THE FANFIC ONE!
☕️ Do you drink anything when you write? Coffee, tea, alcohol, etc?
Water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water this no longer looks like a word water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water water-
I just really love water, okay??
😂 What’s the funniest comment someone has left on a fic of yours?
"I'm not completely convinced that this is a real fanfic. It's 2 in the morning and this feels more like a fever dream that I made up instead of something I actually have just read. Maybe this is a sign I should go to sleep, lol Props to you author for making me doubt my sainity. I'm so going to regret this comment in the morning...💖💖💖" - from LunaTheCat
I'm still amused over this-
❤️ Who is your favorite character to write for and why?
YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME CHOOSE??????? WHYYYYY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME-
Okay I gotta be honest. It was Adrien, like hard-core Adrien, because I adore my traumatized depression overromantic disaster cat boi TO ABSOLUTE PIECES- but then I accidentally wrote a Felix fic and well um... it turns out I really really like writing Felix
he's just so versatile! I can have good cousin Felix, I can have British Gremlin Felix, I can have PV Felix, I can have mash of all three Felix, I can have aromantic asexual Felix, I can have extremely gay and will die mad about it Felix, you get the idea
💡 What’s the weirdest thing you’ve been inspired by?
So Jinx actually already asked this! But I was really tired when I answered and couldn't remember anything-
...
and it turns out I still can't remember anything! But I did have a really cool dream last night I'm gonna turn into a fic...

Ask Game:
27. what’s your favorite or go-to outfit?
OOOOO- so I have this black and purple leather jacket- so when I want a darker, more masculine look, I go for that. The shoulders of the jacket are broader than mine actually are, so it very much increases the masc vibes I give off (especially with my short hair)
When I want a more fem vibe, I have this really cool blue and green sweater shirt thing and I wear that and a pair of nice pants or jeans if I have to and it's lowkey pirate vibes in a very modern way and I love it
I ALSO have this semi-sparkley gray 'ugly' sweater and I love that for the winter vibes and warmth
And of course, I have a black and white plaid shirt for the androgynous comfort. It's very nice
24 >:D
Ask Game:
24. which do you find yourself using, american or british english?
hehe, I was hoping you'd be the one to ask me this question!
So I used to be a strict user of american english. But then I met this wonderful, amazing, beautiful human named Fae and well she just so happens to be British. I just so happened to be writing about a British character in a fanfiction at this time as well. Combine those two things and now you have my very confusing mess of British and American english!
favourite book genre and favourite books!!!
FANTASY PROBABLY! If something looks interesting to me, I'll read it but that's what I lean towards!
favorite books hmm... Pretty much everything by Brandon Sanderson. The Way of Kings, Mistborn (oh my gosh Mistborn, and the second series adjakfakfda I just love the characters too much), Skyward, the whole shabang.
I also love the Fablehaven series, even though it's for younger audiences I loved it as a kid and it's still so good
Percy Jackson, very good
*struggles with memory*
um, Icewind Dales was good
oh gosh it's been too long since I properly sat down and read a book, I used to be such a bookaholic-
Favorite (and first!) book series as a kid was Warriors. I love cats so duh
I know there's others. Why can't I remember??
OH OH OH! Great book, Nice Dragons Finish Last, highly recommend, very much enjoyed.
I recently got two graphic novels I still need to read that I forgot the names of but they're both queer sooo that's why I picked them (and one is about witches!)
-- sorry brain decided to die but I hope this gives an insight into my tastes?
YOU WANTED MORE FANFIC ONES
🙅♀️👻💰☀️
yesyeyesyesyeyseyesyesyseyses MORE FANFIC ONES
🙅♀️ What is one trope you refuse to ever write?
hmmm... besides from things that morally I have a problem with... I can't think of anything.
Certain soulmate troupes/portrayals and also fake dating except they like each other but don't tell each other I'm kind of tired of. If done right, they're absolutely amazing, but also I feel like there's a lot of that in my particular fandom
(that said, I have a fanfiction idea that's a fake dating red herring and I'm so excited for it)
I used to say "I'll never write major character death or hurt/no comfort fics" but um- yeah I have several of those in the works and I am repentant about it
👻 Have you written holiday-themed fics? If yes, which is your fave? If not, what’s one holiday you’d want to write for, and which character(s) would the fic be for?
I have not! I almost wrote a Christmas Marichat found family fic but I didn't have time- Was very busy with the end of the semester and finishing up my BB fic. I still have my notes for it and I'd like to write it!
I've also started several Halloween themed fics, mostly centered around identity shenanigans, and I want to write a Halloween fic about the catacombs
they'd all be Adrien centered because I'm heavily biased
💰 What’s one trope you wouldn’t write, except for money?
for some reason, this question seems easier to answer than the what trope would I refuse to ever write
But to be honest... everything I can think of that I'd write for money, I would also write just for fun. Maybe it's less a matter of would I write it for money or would I admit to writing it for money-
☀️ Has anyone ever left you a comment that made your day? What did it say?
YES! I wrote this fic once (it's called and We Learn To Listen in case you're curious) and I wasn't feeling it at all but it was very well received
"holy damn, i actually started crying. it was such a pure bittersweetness, so much perfect hurt/comfort vibes 😢💞." - from the_devil_was_an_angel_first
"This almost made me cry. This was fantastic! You should be proud :)))))))
This is actually the first fic I've read from you. It was like I was watching a movie. I'm going to go ahead and binge all of your fics now :)) Kudos! Also I hope you have a great day, too :))" - from Redwig
these both made my day and I was beaming and squealing and honestly I'd had a really bad day that day but these two comments made it so much better
