Grizz scans the streets, searching for the pink Inkling idol. It’s not often he leaves his boat, especially for a single Inkling in particular, but he had heard the idol had just returned from being missing. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t a bit curious. Both about her disappearance, and what the deal is behind the whole idol craze. Seriously... he must be getting old, he just doesn’t get it...

He is pulled out his thoughts though by the sight of the aforementioned Inkling. Finally his searching has paid off. Swiftly, he approaches her, his large figure easily towering over her.

“Hey, you’re Callie, right? I’m Mr. Grizz, nice to meet ya.”

Marie woke up first, despite feeling like she could have easily slept half the day away. Getting up silently, she crept toward the kitchen, where she occupied herself with preparing breakfast for the both of them.

By the time Callie woke, shed set out the plates, finished making breakfast, and found a hundred more things to worry about.It seemed to foreign to be able to have breakfast with her cousin again that she was genuinely startled to look up to see Callie art the door.

“Oh! I... I made food. I couldn’t sleep.” That was only half of a lie, even - she’d wanted to be up first, anyway, specifically so she could surprise her cousin.
