venti is immediately pouting. seriously?? you're abandoning him for those yucky first-years? look, he knows all too well the feeling of looking after your cute little juniors. after all, he looked after you too! but this is just too cruel! don't you remember how he guided you and took extra care of you back when you were just a quivering, no-name newbie? he's crushed. crushed, he says! his jam sessions take on a rather dramatic and woeful sound, and his... um, questionable notebooks are filled with lines of mourning and... yeah, let's not talk about that stain.
diluc feels like he's about to snap. you’re testing him, right? how dense can you be to not be able to see the ulterior motives these children have. sneaky little rascals, sending sly smiles his way while they cling to you tight. you poor, naive fool. he knew you were dense, but the fact that you are unable to see through their round eyes and see them as the snickering devils that they are proves his theory right: you need to be locked away.
kaeya is nonchalant on the outside, but inside he’s more than annoyed (and hurt, but he’d rather die than admit it). you don’t look at him with hatred, no, but it’d be nice if you shared that sweet affection you held for the first years with him too. he falters for a moment, before putting himself back together and continuing to trya nd woo you with his sultry voice and knowing smirk. no way he’ll lose you to these pesks!
breathe in. breathe out. it’s zhongli trying to restrain himself from dropkicking these brats. honestly, children these days, no sense of space and respect whatsoever! (no one refrains from pointing out he’s only two years older... is he?) he’s one of the more possessive people out of the bunch, and even though it’s not on paper, it’s basically an unspoken rule to not hog you all to yourself. he’s tried to relay a small underlying threat to xingqiu once, but with his cheeky smile behind a light novel, the boy simply states that no one’s hogging you-- you just like the first years a lot more. zhongli has ordered xiao to try and disrupt any precious time with them, to which the boy had eagerly complied.
nah, childe’s not taking this bs. when he sees you hanging around with those children, he’s picking you up and slinging you over his shoulder. he’s pouting, whining, the moment he sets you down. why them? why not him? whenever he crosses paths with the first-years, sparks of passive-aggressiveness fill the air. it’s kind of pathetic (and funny, but you’re not gonna stroke his ego) when he tries to one up literal freshmen when he’s supposed to be the bigger man. his affections and neediness are doubled, and so is his violent tendencies.
itto won’t even notice that you like them more. when he sees you in school, he’s quick to get super handsy no matter who your company is. the first-years can’t even do anything about it, just staring on helplessly as he whines in your ear about the student council or that ‘stupid tengu’ that’s been berating him. they’re convinced you don’t even see him as a senior. but to him-- seniors, juniors, classmates-- they make no difference! you’re his, and that’s all that matters in the end.
+ bonus-- the seniors don’t really mind aether hanging out around you. in fact, they’re his go to for information and updates on your life. aether also doesn’t mind filling them in on the details, whether it’s your scheduled shopping trip with the first-years or how razor napped on your lap today. after all, you are his beautiful senior! it’s only fitting that he’ll relay stories of your beauty to the rest of your worshippers.
