I find the discussion on the way you described Vio in your recent fic interesting. I always naturally assumed that Vio is a "wild card" since the first time I read the manga almost 10 years ago. Yeah, he does have intelligence and is analytical, but he is also very impulsive and is a smug bastard on top of it! He is one to make a scene on accident, and then say that it was all part of his strategy and throw in a big word or two to throw the others off the trail. Meanwhile, he is actively thinking "Oh man I really fucked that up, oops?"
Vio, aloud: "It was all part of my plan, really. See, what I did, Blue, was...”
In Vio’s head: “HOLYSHITHOLYSHIT I FUCKED UP THIS WAS NOT THE PLAN I DIDN’T EVEN HAVE A PLAN W H A T IS GOING ON.”
Yeah... he has so many monologues to try and explain to the others and himself why the fuck he did what he did and that it totally wasn’t an accident promise he has a plan.
