Boring Introductory Post

Hi I’m El, I’ve been on Tumblr for a long time but haven’t posted in quite a while and needed a fresh start. You may or may not have seen my art around as @singingvio, and I made this blog because all my art there is entirely centered around a fandom that was my whole life, but now I’ve branched out quite a bit and don’t want to feel restricted to that fandom, as much as I loved being a part of it.

I’m an ADULT and MAY (read: MAY) draw suggestive or mature content, I don’t know. Anything and everything will be properly tagged, and I’m not putting “Minors DNI” on here because they will anyway.

I may or may not draw OC content, Deltarune/Undertale, Lego Monkie Kid, Miraculous, Sally Face, Homestuck, Genshin, Zelda, maybe other stuff. My interests change often. I’ll definitely add random stuff in here too; I’m not restricting myself to anything.

I’m Chinese, queer, disabled, and read MANY books on anti-racism and systemic oppression in all shapes and forms, so you wouldn’t like me if absolutely any of that makes you uncomfortable.

I encourage people to look for their own sources and educate themselves, and I ALSO encourage people asking for help on where to start with that. Even if you don’t know me- I won’t judge as long as you want to genuinely learn, and I have plenty of tips on where to start with.. well, anything, not even just politically or art-wise. I can also fix your dishwasher.

new four swords discord server just dropped

I'm launching a new server for the Four Swords manga in an attempt to stay in touch and active in the community. Join to share your art, your fics, discuss headcanons and AUs, or just lurk if that's what you'd prefer. Everyone is welcome, whether you've been a longtime fan of the manga or if LU was your introduction to Four Swords. Hell, even if you're not a fan of the manga yet, this server could be your introduction!

There's special channels to share your creative works, channels for deep dives into various on-topic and off-topic discussions, and adult-only channels as well. We'll let the community suggest improvements to the server and offer ideas for events and host polls to let the people vote on ideas. We also aim to make this place accessible, so PluralKit and Tupperbox have been included for systems, and a TTS bot is available for calls if you can't speak for any reason.

sometimes someone is acting selfish because they just didnt think you had any interest in what theyre hogging. sometimes you dont get invited to the movies because your friend could have sworn that you said no. sometimes you think someone is mad at you because theyre bad at hiding how little sleep they got. we are all like little worlds that briefly crash into one another from time to time and we just arent physically capable of seeing the whole picture at once in those moments. and learning that really changed everything!

In my head, I call this "vase of flowers" thinking.

See, when I started driving, I would get irritated by people who drove Soooo Slowly... like, the ones who slow down to 10 MPH to take a turn kind of slow. And then one day I was taking a vase of flowers to an event, and even though I'd strapped it in carefully you can bet I was taking the turns extra carefully to keep it from tipping over, slowing way down, and... oh.

And, like, there are definitely unpleasant people in the world. There are definitely people who are toxic, or just don't care about other people, or have a pattern of hurtful behavior. But there are a lot of people who are just trying to deliver a vase of flowers.
