Rotting at my workplace and started thinking about how Kaito would propose to you, then suddenly me sprinting through every single ghoul's proposal. So here it is.
Thinking about Kaito proposing to you, he'd likely be so nervous you'd watch him fumble around for 30 minutes before he finally handed you the ring.
Instead of saying. "Will you marry me?" he'd go "Do you want it?" Then he'd immediately stumble over his words.
Kaito: "I... I mean, it's nice knowing you."
You: "Are... are you breaking up with me?"
Kaito: "NO."
Somehow it'd sound more like a breakup than a proposal. He might even sleep talk and accidentally tell you the night before. He'd spend the whole date staring at you awkwardly while practically going nonverbal, and you'd just kind of piece everything together.
