ok. thought more abt the ruetash cyberpunk-adjecent au.........

gortash. cybernetics guy. is dominating the market rn with his augments & probably some other cool tech stuff. behind the scenes he's blackmailed competetors and also has loooooads of unethical testing allegations against him. someone did a hit piece on him saying his augments are tested on unwilling participants and 9 times out of ten the person is injured because of it. he doesnt care. all press is good press!

rue. a creation by bhaal. not quite android but similar in vibes. bhaal has a big thing going on where he creates "bhaalspawn" that are then hired out as workers to those who can afford it? rue is his Fave, his most perfect creation, follows his will to a t and only lets her out for Business Purposes (blackmail and information gathering and sending A Message to those who try to get too close to figuring out how bhaal does his thing) i think theres like, other versions of her that he does allow to be hired, advertised to help with "your darkest urges ;]"

i think they meet because gortash wants a new assistant of sorts. or a bodyguard. his old one uhhhh had some issues..... malfunctioned a bit.... so hes discussing deals with bhaal & then sees rue and because hes told he cant have her he immediately wants her.

also would be fun to have rue "malfunction" or something along those lines. like, each different version of her is connected to the Main Part Of Her so something snaps and she suddenly gets hundreds of memories she never once experienced. seeks out gortash? maybe he has smth to help? idk im yapping my thoughts out at this point. i might toy with this a bit more and use it for gortash week's day 7 prompt.... who knows
