The Action - Icarus (1968)

Another lost classic, you say? Yeah, the Action were one of the top Mod bands in London, and on their unfinished LP Rolled Gold they began adding psych touches. It's a great sound with some truly great songs like Strange Roads and Brain. Unfortunately, their record company was not interested, and vocalist Reg King left to go solo. Other members formed Mighty Baby.
