okay heres some info dump about the arg (hopefully with no spoilers?)

the starting off point is going to be a friend reaching out to the narrator of the story (Protector, since thats my handle everywhere except for instagram and also this specific blog) to help investigate the strange occurances in their world

the themes are going to be centered around perception, specifically self perception and how it changes based on what other people think of you

im hoping to build a couple of websites to go along with the arg portion. ive never built a website, but ive also never run an arg so :P lots of firsts

theres going to be more than just our POV character and narrator. im trying to narrow the current cast down now so that i actually have a chance of making this, but currently theres about 7 characters involved in the arg, 8 with the narrator.

the current plan with the arg (for how i want to run it) is to actually upload all parts of the arg roughly by the end of April, and then let it play out for 3ish months before uploading the video about the arg.

im also debating if the narrator fully solves the arg in the video, or if i leave it for people to discover more. i personally like the latter option in the content i consume, but i know others dont enjoy it.

edit: just to tack on, this is also not going to be my only arg. i have 1.5 more ideas im rotating, but i want to finish this one first.

Okay bear with me:

Why I think the ARG (Archive Room Ghost) is actually trying to help Bess

The first instance of the ARG ever making something move is the coaster for Bess on the day of The Makeout Session.

Second, is right during The Makeout Session and the map rolls up. This would reveal the list that seems to be Bess's Historical Society to-do list of sorts (discerned: dreamcatchers, Carson Drew business etc.) and Addy was a stranger who shouldn't have to see the occult stuff (then why make that visible?)

Third, is 3x08 and the caution tape rolls right over to Bess's foot when Temperance suggests the Whale Tooth (key to ultimately manipulate Nancy, making Bess a pawn) It seemed awful lot like a warning

The ARG is pretty sincere when it lets Ace and Ryan out. A normal ghost wouldn't really trust Ace to ever come back to work on it but ARG did. Indicating that a) it knows Ace b) it's observed Ace beforehand

Now, as for the "DIE" part that Ace catches after coding through the static, I think it's really the ghost trying to say that Bess would be in the path of death if she continues down the occult/WIW 2.0/Temperance-admiring road any longer.

Maybe the ARG is just a good ghost (*cough* it's Hannah *cough*) trying to do right and helping protect Bess? (also why it could be Hannah: the spirit is just inside the Historical Society)

Is it all a game made for us?

Remember that TFP promo picture with a chess? We don’t see any chess game in TFP and it seems that pic has not much in common with a plot of TFP.

But in TST we see Madame Ambassador playing a chess. And she says something interesting:

We have to look at her as a represantation of TJLC or as a fandom in general. She is exhausted. She is playing that chess for three months (a chess that Sherlock threw at her) since TFP aired on 15th January 

... so it has to be 15th April - EASTER - when finally her saviors come and get her out of that post TFP hell. 

So can we expect a miracle on Easter?
