Have any of your kids picked up a habit from you? Good or bad?

Yes. God. I wish they hadn't, but ehh, kids are little knowledge sponges. That's just how they do. Its our job ta try and have good habits for em to mirror.

Francis. Sweet son. I am SO DANG GLAD you take the time to go over your kit each and every time you use it, and make sure it's put away right, and you've oiled what needs oiling, and ugh. Such a good thing. I know I probably can't take credit for that one but I'm so proud of you for doing it anyway. That's. . .Those are kinda the only ones I've really noticed? I'm sure there's others, but I'm having a moment, and it's summer vacation. I don't have to brain at the moment.

Are you the fun parent or the one who says no?

I am both. If it's a good idea, I'll try to be the fun parent. If it's something I think they need some guidance with to not get hurt, I'll probably ask em a few more questions and hopefully we'll come to some kinda agreement on what's the best way ta handle it. If it's downright dangerous, I'll say no, unless Mom and I are there.
