Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho - The Bash 2009

4.5/5 (**** ½) - The only good match on this rightfully forgetten PPV, with a Mask vs. IC Title stipulation. With two top level wrestlers like Mysterio and Jericho, a heated feud, and high stakes, of course it would be a great match. Lots of smart sequences, clever action, and creative offense and counters. Basically everything you could want from a Mysterio vs.Jericho match.

One thing of note was they stressed how Rey Mysterio always wrestled with a mask since he was 14, when he lost it in WCW and only remasked when he joined WWE at Vinces request, which was smart by him because masks print money. He was unmasked from 1999 to 2002.
