White Album Clues #1

The Beatles or more commonly referred to as The White album is the third album that was released after the supposed death of Paul McCartney in 1966.

Released on the 22nd of November 1968 first in Britain and 3 days later in the US it certainly stands out from the other previous Beatles albums.

The White albums blankness is quite a stark contrast to their last previous albums Sergeant Peppers lonely hearts club band and Magical Mystical Tour all of which were elaborately designed and bursting with colour.

Its minimalism and colour (white) is often associated with death and is commonly believed to be a subtle tribute to the fallen band mate.

"Nowhere Man" is a horribly underappreciated song, and its lyrics and composition perfectly represent John's struggle with his identity as both a person and a musician at the time of its creation. Therefore, it is arguably one of the most important Beatles songs to analyze if one wants to properly understand John Lennon as a person. In this essay I will-
