this is one of the best feelings i've met so far btw. this is one of the warmest coziest feelings i know. my favorite Stan Rogers song, my favorite group of musicians, my favorite one among them, and a tall ship. i filmed just a few moments this time to save for later.

this literally feels like a lost feeling from childhood i've been gifted again to have as an adult. no nostalgia, no sadness. it's just familiar and right here with me again.

back on tumblr bc I found a new favorite thing and I don’t have anywhere to yap at length about it. It is them:

I saw them 11 years ago, then somehow later thought they had gone away forever and missed them, and then re-found them at Disney this year. I bought a magic key (it was inevitable) and am going entirely too often to hear them play. I worry a little that I’m around too much and taking advantage of the atmosphere music but I can’t help it lol. They’re so good and so funny and they play the music I love. I never get to hear this music live otherwise. It’s honestly my favorite place to be right now. Specifically in New Orleans square, listening to them.

Anyway yes the Bootstrappers have made me a Disney person. Really I’m just a sea shanty person and a pirate person and I have a new favorite band.
