Last year for August 14-15 @britishsass drew Jacob in the style of a screenshot from the Kagerou Days MV. I was over halfway through a companion piece with Jacob and Diana but ended up blocked on it and didn’t finish.
It’s technically the 16th now over here, and over a full year later… but hey, better late than never. I finished it up. If anything looks strange or inconsistent, blame the fact that one of the characters was drawn so much earlier than the other.

leila is the twin sister of nilou, a renown dancer of the zubayr theatre. leila is also a dancer alongside her sister and they often do performances together. leila is a close friend of kaveh however she doesn't have many other friends.
leila did attend at the akademiya and graduated from the rtawahist darshan, specialising in astronomy and the stars. this is reflected in her attack styles. she however went straight back to dancing with her sister.
whilst nilou is a talkative young lady, leila is much quieter and will keep her head in astronomy books. both sisters are prone to helping out everyone they can however leila is less likely to be the one that the people around zubayr theatre will go to.

the charioteer of the alchemy commission, qianzhi is the current cauldron master onboard the xianzhou luofo. it’s rumoured that qianzhi (despite being a xianzhou native) is not native to the luofo itself. she’s a brief former member of the high-cloud quintet, founded by jingliu. she joined following baiheng’s death. qianzhi stayed neutral during dan feng’s eternal banishment, even disappearing from the luofo after his imprisonment. there’s no records as to where she went nor does she mention it to anyone.
qianzhi is a foxian, made apparent by her perked ears and fluffy tail that never stays still. her ears are always moving, according to her colleagues, since she’s always listening. nothing gets past the quiet queen of the alchemy commission. qianzhi and dan feng were the only dark haired members of the high-cloud quintet.
she’s typically silent, extremely poised and yet unheard of unless you seek the alchemy commission out. her lack of publicity renders her the luofo’s hidden trick - a title bestowed upon her by jing yuan as a joke but the cloud knights took it personal. her alchemy has saved the luofo on numerous occasions. qianzhi doesn’t understand human emotion well despite her high bearing positions. this is what makes her reclusive, hiding away unless needed (or unless jing yuan forces her out of her lab.) she has a forward approach, doing things without a second glance (or even a word, which startles many.) due to her quiet presence and dark hair/fur, qianzhi has the ability to sneak up on people easily. as much as he wishes to deny it, this includes jing yuan on multiple occasions.
blade refers to her as a jewel and despite his attitude towards the other former high-cloud members, he doesn’t resent qianzhi - perhaps this is due to her timing of joining the quintet. in fact, he’s rather calm around her, as if she pulls him in. thanks to her title as the quiet queen, those who learn of her often think of her as actual royalty. this humours jing yuan and she’s often caught him laughing about it in front of the cloud knights, glaring at him as he freezes in her sights.
despite being seen most often with jing yuan, the cloud knights who have met qianzhi are fearful of her silent yet forward personality. yanqing is scared of the foxian yet finds her attractive - this doesn’t go unnoticed by his superior. her relationship to jing yuan ensures the alchemy commission works closely with the cloud knights as healers, although jing yuan refuses to be healed by anyone other than his long term friend - in his eyes, the only one he has left. qianzhi is neutral on all fronts but often times easily influenced by jing yuan. If you need her for something, perhaps you should speak to the general first?
on her days off, the alchemy commission members can find qianzhi at jing yuan’s side, her tail curled over her lap as he plays chess with yanqing. perhaps she is paying attention to the moves made between the two or perhaps she has her head buried in a book, her pointed ears poking above the pages. if someone tries to disturb her during these times, jing yuan will usher them away to protect qianzhi’s solace. it may seem that qianzhi pays no mind to chess but she's observant, learning jing yuan's every move. due to this, she's actually very skilled at chess and often gives jing yuan a challenge when they play together.
she takes a solemn stance upon meeting dan heng, recognising the reincarnation of her previous love interest almost instantly. his presence cracks her hard shell and turns her into an embarrassed kit that hides behind jing yuan often. jing yuan has to explain to dan heng that dan feng was once qianzhi’s almost past lover before he was banished. things are awkward between dan heng and qianzhi but he grows to understand that she was painfully hurt from his imprisonment. qianzhi learns to understand that dan heng simply wishes for a new life and she agrees to assist in his journey to do that as a new man.

deireadh’s status regarding gnosis: despite celestia watching deireadh extremely closely since they handle the souls going to the afterlife, the archons of deireadh are not gifted gnoses by celestia. it’s rumoured that within an bheatha shíoraí there is a gate to celestia since deireadh works close with celestia but that doesn’t mean to say that deireadh’s archons agree with celestia.

deireadh is the nation of death and not an element, meaning the archons do not correspond their visions to the element. the previous archon, éabha (irish - to breathe) had a dendro vision and she was the first archon of deireadh, having won the land during the archon war. it is told in deireadh’s myths that éabha was not a strong archon during the war, instead she was diligent and smart, working in cohorts with morax. she created the court of saol (the court of life) which is the government that oversees deireadh. this includes the archon’s private secretary, who delivers the souls of the deceased to the afterlife.
éabha is the reason that deireadh is almost entirely a forest. she used her dendro vision to turn the bodies of the deceased into tree saplings after her private secretary delivered their souls. however éabha lost her life in a revolution her people led against her since they would not be able to bury their loved ones because of her. morrigan took her place as the archon although éabha also created a tree out of her own body (an bheatha shíoraí - eternal life)
morrigan resides within an bheatha shíoraí, a giant tree located to the north of deireadh at the place of eabha’s death. she nurtures and protects it, having used her pyro vision to burn the trees and land surrounding an bheatha shíoraí so that nobody dares trespasses. despite protecting the last thing that remains of éabha, the people do in fact love morrigan even with her rare appearances in public. when morrigan became archon, deireadh became a nation that began to favour cremation for their loved ones after their souls had been delivered.
deireadh's species.
deireadh is mainly host to the human species but there are others of deireadh folklore that still exist within the court of saol. for example, the remaining banshees work for the archon of death to announce the soon deaths of loved ones to families. on the other hand, the dullahans were faeries that worked closely with éabha when she was the archon - there is only two dullahans left in current day deireadh working for morrigan. few bánánachs also exist with deireadh, their species protecting an bheatha shíoraí upon morrigan’s command.
banshees are female spirits that herald the death of a family member, usually by screaming, wailing, shrieking or keening. their cries signal impending doom. the banshees of deireadh are usually extremely pale and wear grey cloaks as they go about their jobs with them all wearing the same broach in their hair when they are not working to symbolise their species. their eyes are usually red from the continual weeping that they do. the most known banshee in deireadh is saoirse, morrigan’s private secretary.
dullahans are male depicted headless riders on horses - typically black horses - that carry their heads in their hand. they use human spines as whips. they foreshadow imminent death, for if they call your name you die immediately. for deireadh, dullahans work as protectors of the archon, working to kill anyone who stands in her way; this is why many were killed in the revolution. they differ from banshees as banshees simply signal impending deaths whereas dullahans kill with their call. in deireadh, dullahans will transport their victims’ souls to the nearest graveyard for the private secretary to deliver the soul to the afterlife.
bánánachs are female spectres that haunt battlefields; due to this, they are commonly found skulking around an bheatha shíoraí. morrigan used this to her disposal, commanding them to protect an bheatha shíoraí as they roam. they are not particularly violent nor do they bring ill omen. it’s usually easy to identify someone as a bánánach as they make no sound when they walk and usually have a dead gaze.

tsukiko is one of the electro archon's many kitsune and one of the very few that remain in teyvat. many believe that tsukiko is one of ei's kitsunes specifically however deities and youkai alike know that tsukiko was makoto's only kitsune.
makoto died during the cataclysm when tsukiko was only 100 years old and still considered a kit. ei took on her sister's kitsune and tsukiko acted as an older sister to yae miko. despite being raised as "sisters," tsukiko has strong opinions regarding miko.
when ei left to meditate in her plane of euthymia, tsukiko fled inazuma and settled in liyue. she learnt few adeptal arts from cloud retainer and later became a platonic consort of sorts to zhongli; those to the public eye, they would appear as close friends to those unsuspecting of either's status.
tsukiko can fight but chooses not to and instead she insisted cloud retainer taught her healing techniques. zhongli will sometimes send her to heal the remaining adepti during dire times or accompany them for duties to ensure safe returns.
because of this, many believe tsukiko is just another adeptus. many do not know her true name, instead choosing to call her yuè liàng as they heard rex lapis once call her. she hides her ears and tails to avoid suspicion so it comes as a shock to many when they find out that she is not a liyue native, let alone not human.
