my favorite “zepotha will never have the goncharov rizz” moment so far has been seeing the google doc that someone made. goncharov’s is like 50 pages of information that’s just copy pasted from people adding; it came late in the game just to make sure new people could engage in the meme.

zepotha’s doc was one of the first piece of content that came out and everyone tried to use it to write their own story. it got shut down within 2 hours because it was so messy, and the only consistent character is alaina (whose name was spelled differently at least six times). everyone wants to be right, no one wants to succumb to the bit.

Confession: I love the household gadget TikToks coming out of China lately. The ones that are skits like "When Husband finally leaves" or "Chinese girl at work" or "Lazy Sunday in my apartment" and it's 3 minutes of piles of parcels opened with a butcher knife followed by consumerist shenanigans with miniature vacuum cleaners shaped like cartoonish animals that one uses to clean one's desk. Or the sponges to clean one's perfect shoes. Or the tiny kettles for individual cups of tea. Or a UV light that one waves over oneself to kill bacteria (?) after coming home. Or the hooks on everything: table? Hook on the side for your watch. Clothing stand? Hook for your purse and scarf. Toilet paper holder? Hook on the motherfucking side for your motherfucking bracelets. Endless meals of too much food for the one person in the shot (all of it cooked in stacks of translucent steamers and in divided pans with each section shaped like a heart--squeeze a bit of oil from the bright yellow octopus of a contraption and cook yourself four eggs; you are ten years old and just got home from school). Free-standing heaters with top designed to cook foil-wrapped sweet potatoes. And, of course, the perfectly automatically dispensed portion of toothpaste. To say nothing of the magic hand towels.
