I loved the short snappy chapters. It works well with my attention span and it suited the quick action pacing intention of the book.

The murder victim was sufficiently a racist asshole for his surprise “oh come on!” death to be pretty funny and well earned.

Wish

I wish the prose was less bogged down in descriptions of cars/truck models, what people wore and objectification of a 14 year old.

*note: the latter I can’t say the intention of the author but there are multiple ways to say “Boys are oggling my pubescent daughter and it makes me nervous” without describing it the way the author did. Also, generally, it’s a tired trope. When I read books by white cis men, I prefer them to be silly about their weird idiosyncracies rather than… whatever that was.

Geçen yıl paylaştığı iki kısaçalar ile Led Zeppelin’in müzik tarzını ve Robert Plant’in sesini özleyenler için bir kaynak olan grup, 19 Ekimde de Anthem of the Peaceful Army adlı ilk uzunçalar albümünü yayınladı. İlk başlarda severek dinlediğim grubun, Led Zeppelin’i andırıyor olması kulağa hoş gelse de, işin kopya boyutu pek de kabul edilebilir değil.
