Did this get out of hand? Yes. Do I regret anything? Absolutely not.

What's this fic about?

I got to episode 101 and developed a feral need to put That Man Through the Horrors-- in this case, shipping him with everyone in the Archives, which I knew he would hate and which spurred my desire even more (see what I did there?) Introducing a 15th Entity: the Consuming, patron of the fears of intimacy, codependence, hunger, and the kind of desire that overwhelms reason. Follows canon events from season 3 to season 5 (and slightly beyond). Jon takes statements, works on his feelings, and gets into a lot of (increasingly weird body horror) situations. Consuming AU extra part 2! Complete short fic

Martin stretched and then realized he wasn't wearing anything, and pulled the blankets up self-consciously. Jon glanced away, picking at the quilt. For a second Martin thought he was embarrassed about Martin's nakedness as well, before he saw the shy half-smile on Jon's face, the way his shoulders hunched in like he was protecting a secret.

"Well, I…um. You…took good care of me," Jon said, those camera-bright eyes flashing to Martin's face once and then away.

This takes place in the Consuming AU, directly after the chapter "Refuge" . Reading the original fic isn't necessary, just adds context to the Consuming AU. Basics: Jon is a reluctant succubus who feeds off of intimacy the way he feeds off statements.

I actually wrote this around the same time I wrote the original chapter, and getting something down in prose helped the transcript process! Pretty much pwp, because the plot is in the original, but it's pwp with feeeeelings
