Level 196 seen as an endless white void that is filled with different sized mirrors that constantly change their position, sometimes mirrors can flip around that may cause people to fall off it on the other mirror or in the void itself. The distance between all mirrors is always different, if you're lucky the mirrors may build stairs to the very top of the void that would teleport you on the level 1 or any other safe level.

Lore(or idk, small warning: it's gonna be pretty much long and most definitely would have a bad writing ¡v¡):
Entity 97 "The copycat" or Glaze [also known as Samantha Wilson], used to be a human that by accident, on the way to work, fell down into the backrooms. After a year they met one of their colleges that disappeared not so long before Samantha, Polina Johnson. After some time they became friends and started surviving together, but, something happened, they got on the level -3. While Polina and Samantha were wandering around the level, Sam didn't really pay attention to the possibility of entities being on the level, they were just looking at the mirrors, Polina on the other hand seemed quite too nervous, she was constantly looking around and was making sure no one was there to attack them, with every step she was squeezing the shotgun that was in her hands. Suddenly, an entity 36 appeared right next to them, Polina, out of panic, as she thought, shot it while her eyes were closed from fear. When she opened her eyes, she saw that entity 36 wasn't there anymore, but, now in front of her was barely standing Samantha's body with half of their head being shot off. Polina was stunned, she didn't know what to do and was just standing there, suddenly, the mirror behind Samantha started glitching and Sam themselves started losing their balance, eventually, Sam's dead body fell right into the glitched out mirror and within a second disappeared.
Samantha woke up, they felt very weird. After awhile they eventually got up and noticed that they were laying on the back part of some giant looking mirror that was just levitating in some white void that was filled with other same looking mirrors. Sam was confused, they looked around and eventually they saw their reflection in one of the mirrors that was flying past them. Samantha was no longer a human. They didn't understand how that happened, they were walking in circles until they remembered something: How Polina seemed too nervous when they were on the level -3, the sound of the sound of a shotgun trigger being pulled, sudden Polina's disappearance.. Samantha, as they thought, finally understood. Polina murdered them. But why?? They didn't know, they didn't care anymore. The sudden desire for revenge fulfilled them.
They started learning more about the level they were in, there was nothing but a big amount of the same looking levitating mirrors and the endless white void, eventually Sam figured out that they can control the mirrors and with that, learning about the level got easier, so, after an hour or so, Sam found a giant mirror that seemed different from the other ones. Samantha was confused at first, but after taking a closer look, they realized that this mirror was connected to all the mirrors that could possibly be in the backrooms.
After more research and time passed in loneliness, Samantha, now Glaze, learned about all of their abilities: Traveling through the mirrors, shapeshifting, stealing other people's identities. The feeling of big power now was fulfilling them, after years they already forgot about the revenge and about their past life, now they just wanted to fill their "stolen identities" collection.
There was no longer Samantha Wilson, now there was only "The copycat" Glaze, a selfish, self-centered narcissistic entity with the desire to steal people's identities for fun only.
